F8, i mean smallest appature, largest F no: hehehe,,, yup still overexpose, can see the image but still too bright overall, not really nice, i took the same fountain late at night , seems much better,,,
guess for earlier time i do need a filter, any recommendation? brands, ev-?

for the ring case i think maybe u drop on the ring part or knock, weird tat its stuck haha.... so sad for u... i feel u brother...
*
if F8 still cannot then u either get a ND filter or choose a time where sun light are weak. filter brand can go for Hoya/Kenko, or cheap 1 can get keep/octupus etc...

the stuck ring LX3 is not mine, its alvin_yong's camera... he had sent it back to panasonic already. nod.gif

lol...actually the camera is still new, i just bought it for few days..so it is impossible that i will drop it or knock it..maybe the factory screw the ring too tight..so very hard to unscrew it...

i only use CPL for shooting waterfall last time, dont have ND tongue.gif
and CPL can only lower 1 or 2 stop, doesnt help much but still possible to snap some photos.

Not too dark indoor lighting are fine. But an addon of external flash is recommended.

Night Scene basiclly u need a tripod and Shutter Speed control. smile.gif
