Nope. Touch 2 are unable to made video calls because they don't come with a camera in front of the unit. The main difference of the normal and special edition is:-
Normal-comes with 3G network capabilities and GPS
Special Edition-comes with only Edge network capabilities and NO GPS
btw did some research and if not mistaken the special edition is only for India users

yup....its not for malaysia i think.
However i have seen some traders selling it here o lyn.
not sure if it comes with SIS warranty.
I would advice u to tk the original set too.
If the special edition comes with SIS warranty and u dont need 3g and gps function....then u should get it.
think twice though. Gps can be use full once in a while.

Yeah, but i don't really bother (not many people uses this feature. I mainly use it for browsing on the go more than anything)

I have been provided the following information (Username, password, domain and Exchange server) to setup my outlook account into WM phone, but i couldnt find where to enter all the information, the phone keep on asking for incoming/outgoing server information which i believe is to setup POP3 or IMAP phone, not the outlook account. Any1 have advice how to do this on WM6.5 HTC Touch2 phone? Thanks a lot.

are u trying to add an email account?
from touchflo just slide to the outlook tab > menu > add account > .. input the necessary details, n u're done.
Cons: no 3g call

Damn happy with the phone. So far i could consider the best WM 6.5 stock rom device for me ...

just got my touch2 from htc johor.hehe!! but...got probs:
1. cant seem to make/sync hotmail email.
2. i changed setting (eg. what to display on Today screen) but nothing happens, only wallpaper can change.??? how??!?!?

1. Did you run the wizard to obtain Hotmail settings?
2. It runs TouchFlo by default, thats why nothing happens

2. is there any way i can customize touch flo?

well you can customize TouchFlo but it's quite risky. Or you could disable it then ...

hey..got a problem. sometimes it will shutdown in standby mode, then i cant switch it back on. need to take out the batt then can switch on. any1 got the same prob??

try applying all 4 updates on HTC website for Touch 2 and see if it works

i have installed them but still the same. i went to htc and changed my battery, but yesterday the same thing happened 3 times.

ok, might need to send in your device for RMA di. seems like it's faulty =/
