got this phone today...
if i get the phone as a gift.....how to complete the warranty card....the part with the retailers stamp?

what software is the best to play avi files....i cant use core player.
it says theres a error iin the file system!

all those hd dvd files and mkv files can play...but its super laggy....
any codecs for that!

how to change the setting on opera to detect my device as pc...
it keeps displaying mobile sites...
and has anyone found a way to display in landscape...especially for garmin and opera..
troublesome to use it in portrait mode!

1. can get at lowyat already. Try in th first floor

2. Choose maxis 3g. This enables the usage og 3g and also to send and receive mms i think.

3. my battery lasts for less than a day if I use the gps and wifi.
Probably only 18 hours. Without heavy usage, it can last up to 2-3 days.

yes....if u use a lot of wifi and gps..18 hours is normal.
In fact, I think if you use the gps continuously, it will only last for around 5 hours..maybe less!
If u really need ur phone to last for more than 18 hours coz ur not in a place whare you can charge, lower the screen brightness.

I believe the price now for a new SIS set is around 1450-1550.
U could probably get it for 1400 if you can bargain properly, but the retail price is still set at 1599. The price mentioned usually comes with 4gb memory card. This phone will support 8gb without any problem.

the only downside of the phone as I can see it is the qvga resolution of the 2.8" screen. I can still live with it.

everyone is a touch user...u just need to get use to it!

my gps signal strength on garmin is very good..

Seems to be working.

get the original set....guarantees a peace of mind!
if ur on a very tight budget....then go for the ap set!

things u should know about this phone....
Its an entry level PDA....sitting some where in the middle of all htc models...not too good....not too bad!
The design is nice....looks very neat and smart...slim and medium size. Just nice for the hands and pocket!
the screen is a let down though.....qvga resolution and for me....its too small!
i like 3.5" and above.
the specs are ok.
a perfect phone if ur a light pda user.
