QUOTE(J-Slade @ Jan 7 2010, 04:24 PM) Today started using the phone and demo-ing the phone to my colleagues and showing them the features. I really really love it when the alarm clock triggers.. they have the sliding unlock like the iphone unlock to off the alarm. Also, when answering a call if the phone is lock has the double slider on the screen damn cool. where is the location?

QUOTE(moniqee @ Jan 7 2010, 03:27 PM) lol... shy ar? i thought he knew who i was since i saw him at nokia 5800 gathering before tiz... huh? mine let me transfer the files from laptop to hp witout internet connection... it's juz that if i wanna dl stuffs frm ovi store ( then yeah... ) the SQ is much better than nokia 5800... The speakers or the headphone output. the latter is more important for me. Also, when you play a music and lock the screen, is the volume rocker operational. It wasn't with my 5800 and it was quite annoying.

QUOTE(saw2001 @ Jan 7 2010, 04:47 PM) The slider is on the screen. it looks like the iPhone's slide to unlock gimmick. But it is quite special when someone calls in, there is 2 sliders stacked on top of each other. If you slide to the right, u will answer the call. if you slide to the left you will unlock the phone (probably to use other features) Oh btw guys, a quick chat with the product manager reveals that the X6 has a dedicated audio chip which is why the sound quality has improved so much more compared to the 5800.

@ goldfries
The games on the X6 runs smoother than the 5800. Although the specs (refered from gsmarena) says that they both have same CPU speed and same RAM. But test the game Asphalt 4 is smoother than on the Nokia 5800. I am not sure if the X6 is what everyone expects it to be, performance wise... but definitely for interface, it is much more nicer and user friendly and also smoother with Kinetic Scrolling and the Enhanced Homescreen.

The 5800 does have its own dedicated audio chip. However, the one in the x6 might be a different one(and a better one). This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Jan 7 2010, 06:28 PM

( loudness wide is almost comparable ) so far running the hp is very smooth... i'm juz sad they didnt include the pencil function ( can mark several items ) anymore...

They should at least employ a more sensitive sensor, if not a bigger one. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Jan 7 2010, 08:41 PM

i dunno... but the camera "snapping" sound is softer compared to 5800...
at the moment using the same setting "macroshots" as 5800 to take pics... ( pics looks better compared to pics taken by 5800 )... to me it feels like got improvement... but alot? no... but there's improvement~
i havent played with other nokia 5MP but according to joshuawong ( he said it's better than N97's camera )

Well, a little improvement is better than none. The best Nokia 5MP I've tested so far has been the N82. The pictures it takes, even in the dark were majestic.

I was invited but didnt have time to go. Sigh I just bought N97 or else i can help make a fair comparison between N97 VS 5800 VS X6 Added on January 7, 2010, 11:53 pmQUOTE(J-Slade @ Jan 7 2010, 08:27 PM) My brief testing so far (to the naked eye at least) shows that the quality is the same. I tested with N97 the quality is quite acceptable compare to N95 8GB This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Jan 7 2010, 11:53 PM

I think the more important feature about this product is the COMES WITH MUSIC thing.

Is there by any chance they will sell it without "COMES WITH MUSIC"?? Adore the design but not "free" downloadable music thing....
