i do notice Manchester City have a quite weak defend lineup(well, something similar to us). I think we won because of the mid field, keep controlling the ball well, so that we can do continuos striking. But when City manage to pass to their striker, defender and keeper do mistake...
Think of it, Rio Ferdinand couldnt be blame le.. Typical mind of HUMAN, 90 minutes d, selamba la sikit..... Pass slowly, kena interupt....
Plus maybe he got his groin injury, cant whack hard when he carry his leg =)
*
But that was a FLICK from Rio, not even an attempted pass. What was he thinking flicking the ball [without any real power] outside our own penalty box with both Petrov & Bellamy so near to him? blink.gif blink.gif

It's funny to see all the post by Chelsea and Arsenal supporter. It's our derby game and they are the one who are bitter. whistling.gif  rolleyes.gif

And they are claiming City did well. Omg, did they even watched the game? Other than Bellamy's thunderous effort and short period of domination just before the half time, I did not see anything from City. And the the other 2 goals the scored are Hari Raya gifts from Rio and Foster. Lol. City look good because of the 2 mistake we did. Nothing more than that.

Hope we can end the only winning streak left. We have already end 3, left one more. whistling.gif  biggrin.gif

No point arguing with them. It will just end up in a flame war. If a referee is biased, go report to FA smile.gif

Rivals will always say something bad about the opposite team. Just something very common tongue.gif

Enough midfielders on our side. Plus, we don't sell/buy players from rival clubs anyway.

I think he was just okay....bellamy & SWP possessed more threats during the game. AND it'll be a doubt able to sign him since he's young and the key player of mancity. They are "Rich" enough to keep any players.

Btw,

City scored on the 89.54 seconds.

Game did not restart until 91.24 plus we subbed Carrick for Anderson which is supposed to add further 30 seconds.

That time was justified and well done on the officals for adding it on as the goal by Bellamy caused a minute stoppage.

I realize that quite a number of times when our defender back pass to him from his right, instead of stopping/kicking with his right foot he will actually let the ball roll to his left foot before doing so.

And yesterday instead of clearing with his right foot, he tried to drag it back to the box which failed miserably.

at the first minute, when ferdinand pass to him to clear, he slowly position himself to his left foot, causing tevez to nearly steal the ball from him

Police probe City star Craig Bellamy's fan 'slap' after fiery Manchester derby

QUOTE
Police are investigating Craig Bellamy's confrontation with a fan during the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.

The City striker marched towards the man, who had invaded the pitch, and shoved him in the face before the fan was led away by match stewards.

Neither the fan nor the Wales international have made a complaint to police about the clash.

Confrontation: Craig Bellamy makes contact with a fan who invaded the Old Trafford pitch

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "At the end of the derby between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford, a member of the public ran on to the pitch, and was detained by police and security staff.

"During this time, there was an altercation between the man and a player from Manchester City FC.

"No formal complaint has been made by either party but police are continuing to make inquiries."

Following the Premier League match, City boss Mark Hughes said it was "not acceptable" for the fan to invade the playing area.

"I seem to recall Brian Clough clipping someone around the ear, and he was lauded as a national hero," said Hughes. "Maybe it will be the same case with Craig - but I doubt it.

"I'm sure people will make a nuisance about it, but the guy should not have been on the pitch. That is not acceptable."

Greater Manchester Police will also investigate a coin-throwing attack on City substitute Javier Garrido, who was struck as he headed down the tunnel at half-time.

The missile was launched from the home section of the crowd as Garrido walked alongside the probable intended target, Carlos Tevez, who was jeered throughout by United fans following his transfer from the home team in the summer.

Police said there were no reports of any widespread disorder between fans at either the ground or in the city centre.

Twelve people were arrested at the ground for a variety of public order offences and a further 10 were arrested in the city.

A total of 51 supporters were ejected from Old Trafford during the match, which was won 4-3 by United.

Seem like the majority of friends (fans) here had lost confidence with Ben Foster.

In my opinion, he is good in diving, good reflection and good in handling.
However, he is always shaky when the defenders back pass to him. He seem like always struggling in clearance.
I think his biggest problem is lacking of confidence on the pitch.

I regard him as potential goalkeeper, but doesn't mean he will be a successful goalkeeper.
Sir Alex Fergsuson and fans were given him full of support and trust, but how he going to build his self confidence up?

I have to say: if he do not improve his self confidence, he never to be a world class goalkeeper.
This was what Tim Howard facing when he played for United.

Anyway, I think we should give more time to Foster to prove himself. He should convince fans within this season.
Else, we will buy Iker Casillas tongue.gif

So, who will in goal the next BPL match? Ben Foster? Tomasz Kuszcza?

Evra: I Told Tevez We Weren’t Friends On The Pitch

QUOTE
Patrice Evra, Park Ji-Sung and Carlos Tevez were inseparable at United which made it difficult for Evra to hear the Argie booed constantly throughout our victory on Sunday.

“Carlos Tevez is a blue, he hates Munichs!” the City fans chanted after Tevez saw a shot come back off the woodwork.

At half time, Tevez and Evra walked off the pitch today and as they approached the tunnel, Carlos applauded the fans in the Stretford End, who returned his gesture with a load of abuse.

After jokingly claiming that he would boo with the fans before the game, Evra admits it wasn’t nice to hear one of his mates booed like that.

“It was a little bit difficult, because Carlitos is a good friend,” Evra said. “I called him before the game and said: ‘I don’t care, when you arrive at Old Trafford we are not friends on the pitch.’ But off the pitch, he is one of my best friends from my time playing at United. This is why I was with him at half-time. It was hard when the fans booed him. I understand that he played here and then he joined City, but he is still one of my best friends.”

you see...like I said in many pages back, he is lucky to be there and lucky Sir Alex keeps faith on him even though he made a few mistakes until yesterday because he is an Englishman. In the past, an Italian (Taibi), a Frenchman (Barthez), an American (Howard) and a Irishman (Carol) made mistakes and they were nowhere to been seen after that. So far only a Dane and a Dutch who Sir Alex trusted the most. I believed yesterday if a Polish who made this mistake, he will be next at the exit door.

that's why Foster should be buck up and show Sir Alex that he can be next United No.1 when Van Der Sar retired one day. Yes, he got the potential and he is good shoot stopper but poor reading of game will cost him and his career. He should learn that quick or else Sir Alex will soon look for a replacement.

Hughes hits out at Neville

QUOTE
Mark Hughes has described Gary Neville as a 'lunatic' for his excessive celebrations following Michael Owen's winner against Manchester City.

Craig Bellamy's second goal at Old Trafford looked like securing a 3-3 draw against Manchester United before Owen clinched the points deep into injury-time.

Neville cheered United's winner on the field of play before racing down the touchline towards City's fans, before thinking better of his actions and pretending to warm-up on the way back to the bench.

The incident comes soon after City striker Emmanuel Adebayor was hit with an FA improper conduct charge for racing virtually the length of the pitch to celebrate his goal against Arsenal in front of the Gunners' fans.

Hughes says Sir Alex Ferguson's delight at Owen's goal reminded him of Steve Bruce's headed winner against Sheffield Wednesday back in 1993 when he and assistant Brian Kidd famously ran onto the pitch following their injury-time winner.

The City boss is aggrieved his side failed to secure the point their play merited, however, he did take comfort in the fact that United's delight demonstrated the significance of the result.

Lunatic

"I saw Gary Neville running off like a lunatic," explained Hughes.

"What I saw reminded me of Sir Alex and Brian Kidd.

"It shows what it meant to them. It shows we can compete.

"We came back three times and showed great quality and character as a team."
