i already pays Rm25 and get confirmation SMS.
Why still deduct from my mobile account and not used prepaid broadband acc.??
Cause this is not the first time i'm using MBB


i call maxis then they need 2/3 days to fixs and understand what happen?
they check my account last call or data was only few cents only but all my account money gone now only 0.92



Does anyone have to problem with me?

Maxis has change the APN already.

Use your mobile type in *100# then "Send".

Choose "Prepaid Broadband" , then select no.4 switch plan.

ALREADY TRY THIS NEW SETTING BUT STILL CHARGE ME WHEN ONLINE (WAP).
NOW NO MORE CREDIT INSIDE MY PHONE CARD ONLY HAVE RM 0.01.

tried using this service since last week, using my phone (SE G502) as modem. this is lovely IMO, coz i get speeds ~400KB/s for downloads during wee hours & ~200KB/s during noon. would post some speedtest results later on..

with this, i can stream DI.fm #Trance everyday without delay in buffering time.. but 2GB is still a bit short. would love slight increase, maybe 2.5GB perhaps?

can someone confirm that apn=unet is no longer useable ? coz when i tried using unet, im getting error 619.

When will they allow sms activation instead of *100#? Susah if using with 3G Modem.

i wont say it susah, its more like leceh.. put it in a phone, activate it, put it back in the modem.

Yes man, i would be very happy if Maxis/Hotlink allow sms activation for broadband as most of the USB Modem comes with SMS features.

Its just annoying taking out the SIM and putting it back into the modem after activation, it may also make the slot loose in long run. And that might result the modem not detecting the SIM

So, hopefully someone could highlight this to Hotlink/Maxis

latest speedtest and my problem solved, got it connected.. the apn now should be bbnet.

but i still not receive the sms for notification
i tried n trie for 3x
still dun receive
n today i check my balance rm6 has gone
but still no message notification in my inbox
so mad.

Happen to me yesterday also, haha. You can check status at *100#. Under Internet Mudah Alih or something.

finally i get back what i loss.Refunds all my money
It should be a Maxis technical problems.
Maxis is doing upgrade system.
Better dont try purchased prepaid broadband in this 2/3 weeks

cause "i got SMS confirmation but maxis system dont have the transaction record."...how terrible...

i rly enjoyd using hotlink bb.. celcom bb really sux!!try open google at daytime...hurmm sumbuddy already stated for the "bbnet" apn.. i found out that "Internet mudah alih" is different frm prepaid broadband which can only be used 4 pc.. i didnt knw abt dis after sum serious tweaking..

After i bought the pass i tried accessing gprs on my phone but no respnse n then on pc it did the work bt after i a while it stop working ,i check balance wat do u know its rm0.00... .. i know that the apn shud b changd to bbnet but it still doesnt work on my phone , i wanna try on pc but i dont know how to change APN on pc.. I calld hotlink(1300) twice thinking that my subscrptn hasnt been activated that wat i told them...they told me this and that and told me 2 not use the gprs until the technical dep calld me but i ws rly frustrated.. the technical dep still hvnt calld me yet but i disobeyd n tried edting the apn in operator.xml file in nokia pc suite and bam!i got the internet... It turns out Internet Mudah Alih support on phone n on pc... while Prepaid Broadband is only 4 pc..(got influenced by celcom bb since celcom Broadband supports both phone n pc)

i havent tried using my phone as modem coz i have huawei e220.. been using the service for a month or so already and i have to say, it works everytime and im satisfied with the service.

the only problem i encounter is when they changed the apn and they did not mentioned it anywhere.

i do think they got mention the bbnet..i found it when i switch my mobile plan..look under 'plan switching' inside prepaid broadband..

true.. though maxis did mention the abt the apn bbnet... but they didnt told it was 4 pc only n the method on how to change the apn on pc.. lyk i said b4 i had to mod the nokia pc suite file to change the apn.. but after reading the the earlier post i found out a better way to do it.. which is rite-clicking the modem's properties in device manger then go to advance tab..

So if using 3G modem, need to use bbnet? Also phone number is *99#?
