I don't see the option to subscribe to hourly broadband inside *100# - only daily and weekly - is the hourly option hidden somewhere or has it been taken out?
*
by any chance ur using postpaid ? i believe hourly is only for hotlink

edited; i have seen it before, the option was there but couldnt remember which sim i tried (i have both, postpaid and prepaid)

Sorry - forgot to tell - I'm using Hotlink.\

Just went to the site, the charge schedule no longer has hourly...dang I bought this hotlink pack specifically to try prepaid BB... :-(
*
u can try daily, it's only rm8 biggrin.gif

btw the speed has been inconsistence, it's slow during the day (300kbps-512kbps) and at night it will be super fast (1mbps-2mbps)

I'm at home right now where DiGi BB's coverage is marvellous. Was thinking to use hotlink for work (DiGi only got EDGE there) - so naturally I don't want to waste too much here...

ic.. u can try daily when ur at the office, u have 24 hours.

Has it being confirmed in your postpaid bill? I called up the billing department yesterday and they told me it'll be charged as a VAS service, not as usage. Maybe I try out RM2 hourly broadband today and see my bill. AFAIK, maxis is never that generous one.
*
i can confirmed it is charged as 'Value Added Services'.. it is in my bill.

Guyz,

I have just bought a USB Modem, and I'm using this with Hotlink prepaid.
FYI, my modem has sms support.

So, my question is, can we activate hourly, daily, monthly pass using sms? As I'm concern, we can only do this via *100# and we have to get out the SIM and put into a phone.

I have tried taking out the sim put into a phone and activate it, whenever i put into my modem, sometimes it cant detect the SIM and it shows no SIM, so this is my reason why activating via sms is much better.

Hope someone can help

Thanks

i dont think we can activate it using sms.. as far as i know, u have to subs using *100#

When will they allow sms activation instead of *100#? Susah if using with 3G Modem.
*
i wont say it susah, its more like leceh.. put it in a phone, activate it, put it back in the modem.
