this phone is thick, really thick.

has same thickness as n96.
n97 = 15.9mm

arr...those 2 r completely unrelated....i prefer hving a powerful handheld dat i can carry everywhere than a ps3...
its juz a matter of preferences after all

I would prefer thick then tall cause my trouser pocket isn't that deep.

im sure a lot of apps will be developed 4 tis platform....in fact earlier version of maemo already hve quite a big developer base...
not to mention many linux apps can be ported to maemo...n im talking bout the apps for linux on pc
Last but not least maemo also compatible with ubuntu ARM version...ur seeing at thousands of apps ready to be installed onto ur device (correct me if im wrong though )

to make it Maemo 5 platform a success platform, nokia need 3rd party developer to develop apps for maemo 5 so that it can compete with iphone & it's apps store.

from the video i saw earlier.. not very responsive ler.. i would expect something smooth like iphone.. not an iphone user though.. jz wonder how come iphone can be so smooth while other OS can't even though wif high processor speed and 3D accelerator.. y ar? wat makes iphone so different from other pda? the spec more or less the same...

Spec wise, N900 beat iPhone anytime. Only touchscreen experience (N900 use ultra-sensitive resensitive while iPhone use capacitive) iPhone win hands down.
