yeap. i jz went for a short conversation with my source.. if Nokia is not launching this device in asia, and we insists to purchase it wadever way we use, we are on our own: no warrenty coverage, no guarantee the phone can be unlocked for malaysian sim card, no service regrading technical problems (since we use quite a lot of unsecured apps) etc..
no idea regrading mailing, but wont have big problem if bring 1 unit thru kastam by hand carry.
can buy through ebay or not?? i saw some seller selling it.. the price plus delivery fee approx 2.6-2.7k. if plus tax those i think 3k plus.. crazy man.. but i love this hp so much.. juz worry that it cant support our msia sim card although it's unlocked

very risky. many scams. even if the deal is on, and transporting is settled, you dont know for sure that the product it is genuie or in good condition.

ya.. kinda risky.. it's quite expensive.. and i gotta bear all the cost.. looking forward to droid right now. hopefully the price wont be too high.. i saw ebay selling 850USD, around 2.8k in msia.. wow, tat's not cheap though
i dono if i want to take the risk to have my own n900 without any technical support from local... no warrenty coverage, no service, nothing.. have to make sure its 100% shielded from any sort of virus thread...
so ur gonna buy n900? wow, tat's great.. i think i will wait for droid to be launched 1st.. then compare it.. if out of my budget then i will juz get omnia 2 =(

All phones are good when bought if u face too much problem its due to human bug not phone bug. Any phone will break down
partially agree. i can control myself from installing too many apps. but hardly can resists from socialising bluetooth file transfers... that's the main cause of a few of my N series system broke down. luckily have friends can help me format using geniue nokia firmware without charge.

I been a nokia follower since Nokia 7650 smartphone. I do not face issue like virus or crash because i usually know how to solve them. Bluetooth transfers usually dont copy virus over because u need accept if it send more than 1 file. If hack or crack suddenly transfer then yes. My phone i always put in hidden mode with bluetooth on because my BH503 headset, my house bluetooth etc etc requires the use of bluetooth

Virus and hack can be immediately remove by erase data and restore your nokia pcsuite backup data.

FM Transmitter.
Well, ditching all hopes after habouring for more than 1.5 months. Production models does differ with the prototypes. Physical deterioration in performance can be seen on the browser itself. Sorry N900, you're just a love at 1st sight.
