That battery cannot recharge, must be replace.So far no one will bring handphone to repair this problem, I am not sure NSC or handphone shop will replace the bettery for you or not?  I can't find the E71 pcb diagram, here is the blackberry pcb diagram. You can see the battery is on the left "Connection to speaker", is name 4A7, the batteyr should look like this. actually my gf get it in australia whr need to sign contract(prepaid) for it.if send back to tht store then mayb need wait few weeks for warranty
duno nokia centre here can repair on the spot or not with the warranty from telco like iphone |

U jus try walk in to a nokia service centre nearest to u and ask for servicing lor..
