Up to you actually. If you travel oversea, I found this quite useful. When it is switch to roaming network, the timing would change as well. wink.gif

wanna ask
u guys need to set time/date everytime when ur phone was off or no battery?

my gf's set need to set the time and date everytime the phone was off..it is so annoying

and also the time cannot automatically set to world time instead of set myself?
*
Each handphone got a small backup battery inside, the backup battery is for the clock system.
Either the battery is empty, so that each time you plug the battery and put the battery back, it will tell you to set the time and date.

That battery cannot recharge, must be replace.
So far no one will bring handphone to repair this problem, I am not sure NSC or handphone shop will replace the bettery for you or not?

I can't find the E71 pcb diagram, here is the blackberry pcb diagram.
You can see the battery is on the left "Connection to speaker", is name 4A7, the batteyr should look like this.
Each handphone model have this kind of battery mount on PCB, and it is not removable.

If I am not mistaken, Nokia handset didn't provide worldwide warranty.
If you bought at aus, then better bring back there to warranty, or not NCS at here consider AP set tongue.gif

if really no other way, then you can try master reset - press Y+U+green call button and keep holding them, press the 'on' button, the 3 buttons still kept on hold until phone properly starts...

do note all data will be lost and phone reset to original factory condition.
