done near 4ghz with i3-530 and the results are soooooooooooooooo far away from i5-750 / i7-860 for 32m SPI. arggghh.

there's advantage in the dedicated core per thread and more cache.

post some screenie bro..
can compare later... tongue.gif

LOL laugh.gif

SPI runs single core only lar Goldie....the lack of bigger cache may have some effect, but the ram speed and timing is the main factor when SuperPI'ing... thumbup.gif

yea try bro...i only can run until 4.9ghz but bsod once in windows. ram problem kot..and the vcore at bios already max stuck at 1.7v. how to make it go further eh?any jumper to set ar? hehe...
*
I can boot up 4.9Ghz too but the moment it goes into Windows then BSOD laugh.gif I think we need to top up the CPU VTT as well but I haven't tried much on that. 1.7Vcore is a lot and I don't think M3F has such jumpers to increase it biggrin.gif More trials required and if still can't, it means the chip is already at it's max, haha.

not at this speed. actually can. but i must sacrifice on QPI. which i don't want. coz lower the qpi, my 32m score becomes worse. so i don't find any point in sacrificing qpi.

the guy in 2nd place sacrificed qpi for 4.88ghz but running his rams at 1333mhz only even tho he's running 2000mhz ripjaws.

http://hwbot.org/community/submission/9463...9min_0sec_203ms

he also sacrificed 2nd core and ht. mine is still on. biggrin.gif

i think he sacrifice 2nd core and ht to get stable at higher clock.
super pi runs at 1 core only...so no different if on all core or ht...result is still the same brows.gif

well tze....not for long...come tweak more. flex.gif
