Whats the best value for money budget Hard Disc Media Player - To hookup to your tv to watch divx/movies with???

Anybody could help? Where to buy for a great deal? Would appreciate any help. Thanks

just go 2nd floor and shop.... many of them are selling. All the china brand are the same, only design differ. There's one member asking similar ques like u, refer here

Other than the hardware...the firmware is just as important...so buy branded stuff with good support.

True, but be adviced that the WDTV Mini losses the HDMI 1080P (max is 1080i via component) and the ability to play MKV files (if i read it right).

So, if u need RMVB, WDTV Mini but no MKV. If u need MKV (and almost anything EXCEPT RMVB), WDTV is the best choice in terms of ability to play the files, affordability and firmware support from WD.

you don't need HDMI 1080p for the WD mini since it can't play any HD files (RMBV or MKV/AVI) . just SD rez.. so 1080i is more than sufficient..

.  so you can cover all your file options.. laugh.gif

over the years, got many sub, speakers, AVR, DVD players, plasma, CRT, LCD etc.. no different with media players also.. tongue.gif

depends on the bitrate/rez size lor.. RMVB 1.5GB 720p vs 640x480 MKV.. tongue.gif

but RMVB only stereo.. so that's the deal breaker for some...
