If RMVB playbak required, wait for the WDTV Mini http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=681

True, but be adviced that the WDTV Mini losses the HDMI 1080P (max is 1080i via component) and the ability to play MKV files (if i read it right).

So, if u need RMVB, WDTV Mini but no MKV. If u need MKV (and almost anything EXCEPT RMVB), WDTV is the best choice in terms of ability to play the files, affordability and firmware support from WD.

you don't need HDMI 1080p for the WD mini since it can't play any HD files (RMBV or MKV/AVI) . just SD rez.. so 1080i is more than sufficient..

that solution cant play RMVB HD..
so must add

AND xtreamer/AC RYAN AND DUNE.

Then the entire TV shelf/cabinet/rack will be filled with gadgets, not to mention the HDDs..... hahahah
