True, but be adviced that the WDTV Mini losses the HDMI 1080P (max is 1080i via component) and the ability to play MKV files (if i read it right).So, if u need RMVB, WDTV Mini but no MKV. If u need MKV (and almost anything EXCEPT RMVB), WDTV is the best choice in terms of ability to play the files, affordability and firmware support from WD.
