@achew, Yes U can use the iPhone as a 'thumb drive'; U will need to install applications for that - please do a search under 'Business' at the App Store. Please refer to Section J of http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/868281 for more information on Internet Tethering via USB/BT.

@achew, Apologies but I can't quite check it out re the passcode; my XPS in use. See if U can google up step by step instructions. As a n00b, I had no problems setting up PAN on my Vista so U should be able to figure it out too *smiles*

@seattle77 & wassap, On the contrary, when you're on 3G phone calls can come in. Apparently, U aren't able to surf EDGE/3G when you're on a call though.

@Wonka, Let's see... ask urself what U wanna put in? We have a forummer who stores his Movies on his iPhone hence space was always an issue to him. For me, I never quite utilised my 16GB i3G. On my i3GS I have about 18.6GB left which means I've occupied about 13.4GB of space; out of which 10GB is for my MP3s.

@Wonka, I never had an MP3 before I got the i3G of mine. It's just that over the last few months, I seem to have collected quite a collection; and since I've space I just leave it there. I haven't had time to listen to my Podcasts so I haven't sync it into me i3GS.
I think 16GB would be more than suffice for U and if it's insufficient, U'll learn to make do with what U haf *smiles*

@scorgio, I don't think there's a short cut delete all but U can go to Edit and start checking the "-" and then the "Delete" button for all the SMSes - U haf loads of SMS that U need an entire app to do it?!

@scorgio, The previous buyer actually left all his hot & saucy SMSes for U to read?! Ah well.. U haf fun deleting it one by one then *smiles* Or, just do a restore so U can restore the entire iPhone and start from new - but be warned the apps will also be deleted along with everything else @seattle77, I've just tested; 3G/EDGE works when you're on a call and vice versa.

@naem86, I'm not sure U can use iPhone as an ad-hoc network; meaning U get the Wifi from ur laptop PC instead of directly from the router. Try connecting it directly to the SSID on the router and it should work.
Since your i3G is a local Maxis set, it should oredi have the APN settings which means U shouldn't need to tweak it in order to use EDGE/3G unless U have previously done something. Check Settings; if U have a 'Profile' in it, delete that profile. Alternatively, if U have JB ur phone, U just need to put those settings in the APN area [sorry I'm not familiar with JB phones; not yet at least]
@achew, All U need to do is to authorise the computer so U can share and swap apps/songs U have purchased from 1 computer to another. U can authorise up to 5 computers. Don't forget to deauthorise if and when ur swapping the computer for good.

@G_KeN, The only way to keep those media files is if the previous owner authorise your computer with his account; which I doubt he'll do.

@chingwooi, Yes there are several apps in the Apple Store that will allow U to transfer files/photos via Bluetooth to other users. Amongst them are:-
1) Bluetooth Photo Share - FREE 2) BlueShare - $0.99 3) PhotoBeamer - $0.99 / BeamCatcher - FREE [I think for this App to work U need to have both the apps] 4) ImageShare - FREE

@shadowcaster, I'm not sure Y the option disappeared; I've never tried using roaming before. Also, I would advise against it because the 500MB free data is NOT applicable for roaming. Roaming charges are separate. @chingwooi, I'm not sure cause I don't have those Apps. I've been browsing the Apple Store quite frequently and came across some of the apps U were looking for; I'm not a user hence can't quite recommend which is good and which isn't. I think U can refer this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1000739 to teach U how to make ur own RingTones

@megatron007, "Pull"?! Er.. do U mean Fetch? Well, Fetch is as Fetch does; mine is set on manual so it doesn't fetch mail until I ask it to. Yahoo mail on the other hand as Push but its push doesn't seem to be 100% reliable at all times. And Yes U can always set the phone to just give you the mail headers and not the entire mail message @Mozilla-Firefox, Check out http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/868281
