@CSC, I haven't noticed such issues on mine but I do know that when U put the phone to your ear, the phone will 'black out' - it's one of the many features on the i3GS.

@CSC, I'm testing it with my i3GS now; the light remains for as long as the phone is ringing.

@CSC, Delete and reinstall 1 by 1 to test to see which particular app. It's tedious but at least it'll solve your issue. Alternatively, if yours is a Maxis unit just walk in and tell them something's wrong and ask for a brand new set

@CSC, It's not normal. I think U should take it back to Maxis to get them to check. @Lord_Ashe, The screen goes black v quickly after U miss the call but when the phone is ringing it doesn't turn black

@CSC, I can't answer the question - like I said, take it back to Maxis lah if it's still under warranty

@skylancer, When U put in a new iPhone it'll ask if U want to set the phone up as new or if U want to restore from a previous backup. All U need is to select restore from previous backup, choose whick particular backup U wanna restore from and voila it all appears again OT: And I'm just lurving the smell of my brand new MBP

@sokryswaslike, U may be connected to the McDonald's network but if the network is not connected to the Internet U will won't have internet access If other apps requiring Internet doesn't work then chances are U've nothing to worry about

@shadowcaster, Yes that is possible. All U need to do is restore the new phone from your previous backups.

@eekwan7, 3G is just a platform. DiGi uses EDGE and that can also send through MMS; just that it's slower than 3G that's all.

@armando_v, It's normal. Even when you charge it via USB u'll get the static feel. I think it's due to the "bezel"; it's happened with me i3G and i3GS so just don't pick up the phone when it's being charged; or use the speaker phone

@armando_v, I haven't come across many forummers complaining about this but to me, it's quite common. I just don't pick up calls when I'm charging it or if I do have to pick it up, I usually unplug it or put it on speaker phone mode.

@samngcheesan, Could it be that you have your Push switched on hence Mail is running in the background? @cksia, It perhaps might do u some good to read up your instruction manual - you'll find the reason Y only 1 of the holes/ports is emitting sound

@hackwire, I don't think you can bar a number on ur own. The best way around it is to set a silent ring to that particular number so when the phone rings, U don't actually hear the phone ringing All officially purchased iPhones are NEVER jailbroken sets. Yes U will risk warranty should U JB it but before U take it in for a warranty claim, just reset it back to new and ta-dah it should be fine
