Added on September 15, 2009, 11:16 pmHmmm, after a factory reset, the home screen is set to shortcuts and not the contacts bar(the previous default).

Nokia E-mail 10.00......something is installed in the settings wizard.

Left right arrows in the alpha numeric keypad is larger.

Might only be me but bass seems to be more full-bodied. With no settings set, it sounds better than previous.

Loudspeaker performance seems to be quite the same but possibly louder. Can't tell if there are any real volume difference as with the previous software(pre v30) because it is my first time in months in a quite environment.

What was your problem with v30 anyways?

let me ask you then.what u expect from this firmware actually? are u expecting kinetic scrolling?v30 is already not that fast so even if nokia include the kinetic scrolling into v31,the phone will be very very very lag...at that time im sure that you'll say that this phone is not good coz keeeps on laging this lar that lar...use ur brain

Just updated to V31, I think the major changes are Nokia Map to Ovi Map (Now u can use it in landscape mode. ) and more free RAM.

u really should update to v31. becuz v31 fix bugs...hope it fixes urs. ^^

V31 causes me of needing to take out battery when i want to restart my phone...
because it hanged when i restart my 5800...the nokia icon came out,but cannot further go in...
need to take out battery...happen for 3 times edy since update from yesterday....
does this happen to you guys?
i did hard n soft reset edy...
