I tot it was a goal at the very last minute....sadly it isn't...
All in all everyone did a good job there, hopes diaby doesnt get demoralised after this. He did his best to make up for it. I can see great effort after we were down by 1. Next stop...Man City! |

Honestly United can have those 3 damn points. They need them far more than we do. We'll still finish above them in the end. They are boring, no creativity and shite altogether.

QUOTE(kaka91 @ Aug 30 2009, 02:29 AM) if i had to write it i would say: united came from a goal down to win the match by a wayne rooney penalty after he dived and an abou diaby own goal, AND much help from the ref. arsenal were clearly the better team, but the ref was a c*nt, so united got the 3 points and arsene got kicked out. |

Without Fabregas, Song and Denilson don't know where to pass the ball, that eventually make them dribble, dribble, dribble and lose the ball. haih...
But on the good note, i see much improvement in our defence except the last 20 minutes of the match. Everyone want to go Gung ho. |

aint abt the ref, we played a good game-just very unlucky. Even MU camp agree so.
If anything, i would blame Almunia for conceding the penalty. |

We played better than Man Utd, certainly. Like I said, 2 mistakes = 2 MU goals. Well, except for passing which both team wasn't up to standard. Giving up too much posession.
As for Diaby, he did well, of course. But was undone by the own goal. I must say that was a textbook set piece defending, and he screwed it up horribly. As for the penalty, Almunia could have stayed in the line, coz Rooney was well covered by Gallas, IMO. But with Rooney's skill, Almunia wasn't taking the chance. Good game, with bad luck written all over it. Ask the MU fans, even they think lady luck smiled on them today... |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Aug 30 2009, 02:25 AM) Were you watching another game ? Honestly we were atrocious. We look so static and our passing was horrible. We had absolutely zero movement today. Which was why Song and Denilson had to dribble and dribbling wasn't their strength. I wouldn't say atrocious. This our first game against a big team. MU was far from dominating us.Its just that Man Utd were equally poor as well that we looked the better team. |

It seems that the world is always against Arsenal. Why so? I've really no idea can someone tell me why?
diaby did great apart for his unlucky own goal. I guess in such situation , the lads will certainly grow to become a stronger team. It's now all about the mentality. When everyone in the world, including the referee, is against you, you have no other options but to do to your fullest. Scenario's in today's match is really expected. Those hypocrites would love to see Arsenal topple and now it is the best chance, ie , doing it in a big game. And we see that, penalty not given, decisions against us, yellow card and all sorts of things. What can we expect more from this? Nothing the lads can do about except strengthening their mentality and intent. There is now only an option for the lads which is to win the championship. Otherwise, you can expect how the media will be talking about us again. It's useless for us to whine even we are treated unfairly. They are obviously against us. We whine we aren't going to get anything. We have to let our actions speak. I actually feel happy on losing this unfair game. BECAUSE FROM NOW ON, WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE! |

its almunia error, but the similarity of fletcher's tackle and almunia's is very obvious. no one is blocking the view and its clearly fouled. yet, we are still not given penalty, as usual.

I feel like killing Diaby at the moment i see him score an own goal.
The ref sucks, produces unnecessary yellow card and of course an arsenal hater from his look. Arsenal had the grip on the game after half time and produces many good chances yet passing well. Totally not much defensive problem/error but person player errors.Almunia ran out in such high pace when Gallas could cover it up since the angle is just like Eduardo case. Diaby,i just can't understand why he cant just clear it and give them a corner or something man. And Wenger tactic bringing off 2 midfielder really kill the last part of the game.Totally no ball control in the midfield. And the fking last few second offside was a killer.Wenger will blast the ref until the London had earthquake. Arsenal bench were too limited that day itself.Fabregas,Rosicky,Nasri all not there to support. Really piss off right now at how unlucky can Arsenal be just on the day i bought the new 3rd kit jersey. |
