..no matter what happened between Ade and the club/fans, the celebration was a bit too much...
when i saw the crowd jumping up and down and cursing him..it was frightening...

i would love to see Gallas reclaim his captain armband
Perhaps after the previous unnecessary outrage lesson he might even be a better captain now.

Didnt watch man city game, If i watch it then it'll be another sleepless night sad.gif

Bentner still has 'A LOT' to learn and improved on. Yes, he is deadly on corner set piece and a high ball specialist, but if he don't start improving on other technical areas like passing, dribbling and positioning, he might as well become the same old Cisse when he was playing at Liverpool. His past behaviour and attitude (arrogance and showing middle finger to teammates) is a big problem as well . He is over-protected by his agent (father). I would say based on his performance as a super-sub last season (scoring goals when called up as sub) he deserves a first team slot, but not just yet.

On Diaby... well... for one reason i don't understand why, is that he loves to dribble into the middle of oppositions and get himself surrounded. If his role is to attract the crowd and create and opening for his teammate then i would say this is a brilliant idea. The problem is once he dribbled, he just can't stop until he loses the ball, he ain't passing after he draws the crowd and you can clearly sees the frustration on his teammates face everytime he loses the ball = =

can i suggest bro kimhoong put up this on the 1st page on every thread from now on... can we? can we? can we? please...

just a reminder what a **** Ade is.

Added on September 13, 2009, 9:33 pmit was a mistake for AW to take out BOTH Song and Denilson.. and go Gung Ho.

He should've taken Diaby off, and put Dudu in. Having Either Song or Denilson is a better insurance than not having them at all. Cesc is not a DM... nor is Rosicky.... and Diaby, don't get me started.

QUOTE
Clichy got caught upfield, there was no effort on Diaby's part to get back,

from www.arseblog.com.

enough said... no more diaby please

Added on September 13, 2009, 9:36 pmbtw.. i disagree that we're lacking experience. Denilson and Song was industrious and I think they shouldn't be taken out. AW should try taking out Diaby and Bendtner, and put in Rosicky with Dudu.

Eboue for Sagna was a good substitute but still why Denilson/song?

Abou is not young. Jack is young, so does Fran and Aaron. but not Abou. he is 23 years old now. he should be entering his prime now. also i never like the excuse of 1 being young for him not to perform well. i tried very hard to understand why le Boss keep on babysitting him at the expense of our club but still i could not find any

in the Cesc and captaincy issue, i have my suspicion that the captaincy was given to Cesc way too early last year and it was some sort of a "bribe" for him to remain with us. i do not want Billy Gallas to have the armband back. he's performing really well after being stripped off the captaincy, long may it remain

Robin is very clearly the player among the current crop who care the most about Arsenal as a club. but his temper make him not a good choice at all to be handed the captaincy

Tomas always sick, hence the idea of giving him the captaincy should never arise..hahaha

a captain need to do much more than that, influence the team, lead by example, drive the team forward, and rally his teammates when time is tough.

a brilliant players doesnt necessary means a good captain.

As an Arsenal fans, I also feel disgusted of Ade's actions...

... but as the TS of the thread, I should promote positive elements of the game and club - in short, spreading love instead of hatred smile.gif

It's okay for us to continue discussing on Ade's actions in the thread because these are individual posts and do not represent the Arsenal Street Talk thread's POV as a whole.

- guess you guys understand what's in my mind who indirectly represent all Arsenal fans of LYN icon_rolleyes.gif

Well we do have chance to win PL if we manage to win against the smaller teams like MAN UTD did last season. They had the worse record against Big-4 fixtures last season than us but in the end they won the PL and there was huge 18 points gap between them and us.Look at the bright side,we beat Everton 6-1 away, done wit United away and 200-mil worth team away. The lads just need to pick up maximun points against those smaller clubs and the PL is ours for the taking. smile.gif

OMG i just realize that their 1st goal was offside. With that offside goal and the guy i don't want to name stomping on VP just shows how the ref this days are just plain rubbish.I am not saying that we lose the game because of the ref.I admit we lose because they are the better team and we were outplayed. It is just the ref decision is getting on my nerves

to all gunners, if you watched closing mins of manc match...based from my opinion after rosicky scored the 2nd goal for arsenal....gunners can end the match with a 5-4 comeback victory..which would be a great stuff to watch...but the players failed to utilize it....imagine if the ref gave the penalty + van persie's hit the post...would bring arsenal at least a point...anyway good game.

yep... that clear handball from barry was a penalty... if given, it'd be 4-3... and if RVP didn't hit the post, that's 4-4... the last 1 minute will be 5-4.. how sweet it is if it was like that. hehehe

nevermind... lost already... up next wigan.
