Maybe it is a photoshopped picture, then it'll give Bandai more ideas to milk customers. sweat.gif

There is actually a second V that is present in the novels.

erm....i'm newbie in painting here...can i ask some question bout painting....

how i want to paint my transparent part of beam saber..it come original with light blue colour(HG 1/144 strike freedom n 00 justice)?

how to make them bcome pink? other way than airbrush is there any??
*
Wrong thread... modelling questions and tips are here:
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/703675

But simple answer for you would be to get some clear red paint. Make sure it's clear paint and not the usual flat or gloss paint.
Not sure whether the blue shade of the sabres would affect the red or not, but the blue of HG Seed's sabres are pretty light so shouldn't be a problem.

The pictures that you've posted seem to be the gold version of the 1/100 Red Frame, rather than a modified version. There are 3 variants of the Gold Frame available to choose from, but all of them are in 1/100 scale.

MG GN-X coming in January 2010 at 3,780 Yen (inclusive of tax)

*
MG-fying a grunt suit? Hm... funny move, since the GNX isn't as popular as other grunts such as Zakus or GMs... I thought Bandai would have focused on MG-fying other 00 gundams or maybe the main antagonists instead, like the Masurao.

And human sized gunpla is already available... 1/12 Gundam.

Where's MG Legend Gundam to complete the 'Big 4' from Seed Destiny?  cry.gif

I'm hoping Bandai would milk the MG Zaku 2.0 frame and release a wave of MG Blaze Zaku Phantoms...  biggrin.gif

*
The Zaku 2.0 and the Seed ZAKU is actually more different than similar, so I don't think it's feasible to simply transfer the ZAKU exterior onto the Zaku2.0 frame. Even the Gouf 2.0 requires many new parts compared to the Zaku despite its similarities.

Personally I'd like to see an MG Providence rather than the skinny Legend...

about tat vulcan... i thk in MG also got..

MG should be ok on the stand... blush.gif
*
The vulcans in the unicorn seems like an afterthought. The original linearts by Katoki did not feature the vulcans at all, hence the MG didn't incorporate them into the gunpla. Nevertheless, it was mentioned in the novel that the Unicorn did have 60mm vulcans on its head so maybe that's why they decided to add them in the animated version lineart and subsequently the HGUC.

As for the stand... well maybe you could find a way to snip the male connector off, glue the groin clip onto the end of the pole, so that it can support the MG. Again the weight of the MG might be too much for the glued clip though.

MG Victory reviews are available now !! It's the size of an HGUC Unicorn biggrin.gif

http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/taka421jp/51416812.html/

http://hima-toy.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/200...ctorygunda.html

The main downside of this MG seems to be the non-rotating upper thigh joints which makes some of the poses look awkward. Other than that, it looks like a good package. Like the Unicorn, transformation seems to be the selling point rather than articulation.

and look at the price of the MG V Gundam  sweat.gif

ffffffuuuuu, from 3990 yen dropped to 2790 yen, drop 1200 yen liao
japan so nice, can turun harga like tat, local hobby stores shud do this also  sweat.gif

*
You could opt to leave out those red circles. After all, the original design doesn't have them or the gazillion warning decals that ver Ka MGs are notorious for. Or just use some red ink with a fine tip brush and colour them in.

As for the price... it's not surprising at all. Japan often have crazy discounts even for newly-released gunpla. My Gundam ver2.0 only costs 3050 yen compared to the 4200yen RRP.

Looks like the colour is spot on this time. The previous blue shade must be due to the camera's flash.

In conjunction with the OVA perhaps? If this is the case then probably just add vulcans on the head and some panel line/stickers here and there.
Too soon for a ver2.0, but if they could fix the knees, ankles, and improve the articulation of the shoulders then it'll be awesome.

At 7000 yen I think it's most likely the inclusion of gatlings, and if we're lucky maybe more accessories (eg extra shield or bazooka) for a near FA look. Don't think it'll have all the FA equipment though, such as gigantic boosters, missile pods, and green psycoframe.

The "bow" mode actually resembles one of the Zeta resin kits.

I was hoping for the original Red Frame backpack with a Bucue head with sabres but oh well.

MG GNX looks very nice indeed.

Not sure about the MG, but the NG 1/100 can. Of course, there are no handles for the Blue Frame to hold it like that, but the wings are able to swing backwards for a bow like look with the gatling as the arrow.

They could, but from how Bandai always do things they are more likely to release them separately so that they can sell you more kits. See Aile and Sword/Launcher Strike, or Xbone Fullcloth.

Thanks for the tips. What's the difference between HG and MG? Other than the price lol.
I see thank you. =)
Yea... I don't want to start with a model that breaks easily. haha... thanks for your advice.
LOL Unfortunately I don't have a fat wallet.

Another thing, which one is better zwei, masurao or exia or any other suggestion? smile.gif
*
Newcomer to the gunpla world eh?
Bookmark http://www.dalong.net , http://www.gunplablog.com/, http://www.geocities.jp/hobby_no_toriko/index.html , check ngeekhiong regularly and it should suffice.

If you're not doing kitbashes or custom modding, any model will suit you as long as its within your budget regardless of HG or MG. Follow the manual, clean the nubs, do some minor detailing with paint and it'll be good enough.

QUOTE(Kikifish @ Dec 25 2009, 04:56 AM)
More like desinger is lazy.. blitz + amatsu back and put some lance at skirt armor.. and paint it all red.. ==
*
The new Seed series are just lazy rehashes of older designs. They just took different parts of a gunpla and relocated the parts... for example move the thrusters to the shoulders, the skirt armours to the back and things like that. Absolutely lazy, absolutely ugly.

Picture review of the Nazi Zulu... Love the realistic weapons, but the lack of bulk makes it look weak beside its older brother Doga.

So you guys are suggesting that I get the Sinanju than Sazabi? laugh.gif
*
Get both biggrin.gif

SIEG ZEON !

RM310 is a bit expensive for either, but if it's the best (by best it also includes convenience) price then why not?
Personally, if you are going to spend that amount of money on an MG you might as well go for the Sinanju. It's much newer and better in terms of articulation and material quality, plus it has more intricate details. Oh, it's also a paintjob nightmare too but if you're going to spend money on it there's no reason not to spend time making it beautiful. No rush at all.

Sazabi... HGUC is good enough. Similar, if not better articulations compared to the MG version; but much cheaper. Due to its bulk it doesn't look out of place beside your typical 1/100 scaled gunpla either.

As expected the OVA Unicorn does get additional vulcans on the head. Can't really see from the picture how are they going to make adjustments to the legs, or what 150% improvement means. Maybe instead of the sub-90 degree bending of the knee, this new version can actually go beyond 90.

New display stand is a welcomed add-on, but if it's a service rack like the AEUG MKII's then it'll probably end up as a dust platform. Hopefully it'll come with a pole for airborne poses. Personally I would prefer a pair of gatlings over a display stand.

Maybe the stand is similar to this one:
user posted image

Figurines... meh they'll end up in the box most of the time.

2500 yen extra... worth it? Hard to say...

While looking damn ganas, I don't see the armour on the full armour Unicorn...Maybe should be renamed Full Weapon or something, lol.
*
There were rumours when the FA Unicorn was first revealed suggesting that it was a misnomer, and the FA should refer to Full Arms rather than Full Armour. Having said that, the info sheet did say it was Full Armour although English spelling errors are pretty common in Japanese publications.

QUOTE(golbeza @ Jan 7 2010, 10:33 PM)
looks like the 1/48 scale Gundam was named "Mega Size". As seen from previous pictures, it pretty much resembles the MG 2.0 & HGUC 30th ver, it doesnt resemble the PG features, otherwise the price would go up to 20,000 yen, lucky its just 8190yen (March release)
http://i645.photobucket.com/albums/uu179/l...ol/410554_3.jpg
btw, i just come across this boxart in 4chan, dunno whether its official or not  unsure.gif

*
It's actually identical to the 30th anniversary 1/1 statue rather than the MG2.0.
I won't be surprised if Bandai decides to release a 30th anniversary version of the MG... then we'll have all kinds of RX78 variations in MG form.

Too bad it's very likely to end up as a dust platform.

LOL... That is so NOT 150% improvement... If this is the best they can do, what's the point of having new (grey) parts?

Red Frame's bow looks silly... Such as big and bulky contraption and yet shoots out a puny beam arrow... might as well use beam rifle lah...
