The new OO designs are just "let's put as many boxes on the back as possible"...

Oh yeah, the dust platform can indeed be combined with action base to form the break out scene.

And apparently Loto is so freaking small that it comes with 2 units and a variation of shoulder cannons.

the back view of the bay base, still got empty slots for the weapons.... possible slots to complete the 'maybe' FA Unicorn Gundam? Try looking at the side connectors of the base, there might the possibilities tat another 'maybe' MG from Unicorn that will have a different base liao xD (same case as the MG Zeta 2.0 & Mk II 2.0)

The extra slots might be more the gatlings, but there are boxes that look like containers for FA's missile pods. Well they could easily release an FA version at the same 7500 yen price - just leave out the platform and throw in extra weapons and pods.

The connectors for the base... probably allowing you to join 2 Unicorn platforms together... After all the Unicorn was stored beside the Banshee when it was captured by EF/AE under Martha Vist and Albert.

AAAAARGH!!!! FAIL BACKPACK IS FAIL!!!!! mad.gif  vmad.gif  doh.gif  shakehead.gif

It's actually similar to Turn Delta's backpack... so maybe this new backpack has some relationship with the story of Delta Astray.

Why can't they just release plain Astrays with correct proportions in MG form?

A better review for the Rezel... but is that a red foil sticker for the visor? Ugh...

The Gaga looks horrible. Who in Bandai approved of such design?

Harute looks much better proportioned, though the backpack is blockier.. maybe it's just me, but Red Frame looks oddly-proportioned (not necessarily the kit, but the original design of it).. the katana hilts are BIG, and so are the knee areas, not to mention the small "sandals"  sweat.gif
*
It's the MG that has weird proportions. The original lineart is more aesthetically pleasing although some may complain about the flat feet, but I feel it's deliberately designed that way to resemble a samurai's sandals.

Harute, and the other OO movie gundams are odd looking machines where there's a competition to see who can carry the most boxes on their backs.

i bought a mg zeta plus a1 the other day, thinking it's about time i should build one myself. after seeing all the pics posted, it kinda puts me off knowing that i don't have all the tools that would make the kit look good. all i have is a borrowed toolkit (cutter, knife, etc), and a used gundam marker. i have a fg gundam which i assembled quite some time ago, it looked pretty awful... that's why i bought the mg, thinking it would look good just like in the pic =.="

now that i know that there are quite a no. of tools involved, can someone actually list out the price (and where to get em) for the things you've used when modelling your kit?
*
Depends on how much skill you have, and how much effort you want to put it.

For a straight assembly, a decent hobby knife, sandpaper, gundam panel line marker + eraser will suffice. Gundam markers are for touching up the details but you're better off using a thin brush+paint for that purpose.

Read on regarding tools for basic modelling.
Advanced skills can be found in hobby magazines and also places like Zero G forum and our own modelling technique thread that's lying somewhere in the forum

Looks awesome but not practical. Why carry so many weapons when you only have two hands to wield them? And a direct hit from the back to the FA Unicorn would just detonate all the rockets he's carrying behind him and kill it in one shot.  laugh.gif

*
Same argument with Exia/00S7. Why carry so many swords when you only have 2 hands to wield?

The shields however have purpose. The one on the back provides an I-field to cover the rear end, while the other 2 on the arms can be used in any direction that follow arm movements.

First time saw really surprise, I remember I saw McD Rx-78 before and Miku McD....... all carazy about McD Colour. sweat.gif  tongue.gif
wow this is more better that METEOR. tongue.gif
*
Meteor makes more sense as a mobile weapon pod. The power frame has nothing extra expect gigantic hands to wield the ridiculous battleship-length katana. Who in their right minds wastes so much metal to build a gigantic solid blade, when in gundam universe beams can be altered to any size and shape as long as you have the correct generator?

Jegan looks better with some skirts on, but I'm still not a fan of the grey mouth piece.

Anyway, X and ZZ gets some HG love.... finally. Looks like X will be quite tiny though, as with most AU HG kits.

Woot !! MG Wing !!. Now an MG Tallgeese might be closer than we thought.

Looks like it's going to get similar hands as the Victory. Bandai seems to like using these swappable palms for tiny MGs nowadays.

MG Musha MKII isn't exactly a surprise since Bandai could reuse the MKII 2.0's frame.

Different parts. Red frame has sandals, Blue frame has sneakers, Gold Frame wears heels.
