Hi Guys,
Im planning to get a psp for myself. I've been gathering infos about psp. Im a total noob on psp & I have a few questions here. 1. Should i wait for psp go to be available in our local stores? Will it be able play games like what psp slim plays(*you know what im talking about*) 2. Lets say i want to buy the psp slim. Which version should i get? From what i've gathered, if i buy the psp3006, i cant turn it off. If not i have to redo the installation of the cfw. Am i right? Will the developer be able to fix this issue in the future? 3. What is the market price & the items that i should get in the package? What should i check? (eg. psp/motherboard version, charger & etc) Really appreciate if you guys can help. Thanks in advance. |

1. psp go is almost hack proof or so that's what the representative from sony said. It have internal battery that you can't change (i think) so you can't use a pandora battery.
2.Psp 3000 is still in development (you know what i mean) but there's a possibility of it being improve. If you want to stay on the safe side choose psp 2000. there isn't much different between psp 2000 & psp 3000 anyway. 3. Make sure everything is original that the psp is brand new not second hand and make sure the psp mother board is not the TA 082, The market price vary but its around rm750-rm850. Survey your area first before buying. |

well, technically the psp 2k and 3k running on the newer mobo is already sorta hack proof, thats why the cfw function is temp.second generation psp 2k has the pandora function on the battery disable thus one cannot make pandora battery. getting psp2k or 3k now has no difference. and it's not easy to check if a psp is original or second hand, and if me, if able to get the older model it's pretty worthy

About the PSPGo, yea, not much news yet, but not being able to use a Pandora's Battery doesn't mean it's hack proof. There sure are some holes in the system, and if developers can take advantage of it by expanding the hole and creating something out of it, it should be all good. But for now, I don't know nothing about it lol2.Psp 3000 is still in development (you know what i mean) but there's a possibility of it being improve. How do i make sure the unit im buying is not a 2nd hand? |
