1. Yup, it's just the region code. in terms of package is all the same.

2. u will know once u can't play certain game...

3. actually, it's like putting in on sleep but it doesn't drain the battery much. u just can't turn it off completely or else it's erase the custom firmware and u have to do it again.

4. Yes u can bring it to the states but u need an universal plug for it. u can buy it at any leading departmental stores here.

I would definitely choose the first option. Why? Well, the temporary custom firmware used on newer slim models and PSP3k units are good, but a full permanent custom firmware is always better. Plus, if you ever brick your psp upon an upgrade, or something else, you can always unbrick it using a Pandora's Battery, whereas in the case of the newer slim models and PSP3k, you wouldn't able to do nothing to get your PSP to a workable state again as of yet. About the price, I really don't know, as it has been ages since I last checked the price of a PSP in a game shop xD

-those are just region. package are the same and there is not difference.
3) Newer games require newer cfw?Means need to upgrade your cfw?
-depends..for now most games requires 5.55 and above (newer games according to some sources mention it's gonna require 6.00 and above)please buy the umd then.
4) PSP 3000 now can fully modded? Is it stable?
-semi modded i guess since it's temp (once unit is turn off, it becomes a normal psp)
5) Which one supports more multimedia features?PSP 2000 or PSP 3000?
-both units are the same dude. the only difference is psp3k has better screen and built in microphone.

depends on the game as usually. usually ofw are included in the UMD if an upgrade is required.

all psp are sold at the same price regardless of colors. unless it's limited edition or whatever. hmm, if such a huge upgrade, for sure some save files will not work.

well, yeah i'm kinda pissed when they demand more money for the new colors but i think it's kinda worth it to get the colors one coz it's not fingerprint prone like the black version. i hate the black version coz it's too fingerprint prone and it's kinda annoying.

at 1st, i bought the black 1 coz it's cheap. then after a couple of minutes fiddling it, i decided to return it back and top-up more to get the bright yellow. and now, i'm a happy camper
