@twL / knuckleballer / gastacopz, sorry guys, i forgot to mention that.

TT PORTING OUT TO DIGI IS OK!  thumbup.gif

I took my tt sim yesterday and ported out immediately (090909)! today i went back to digi centre again to check (100909), everything works fine. tested on the spot.

on that moment too, i pushed the 010-Digi Prepaid -> Digi Family under my Digi Postpaid (012) biggrin.gif now, my 010 <-> 012 is free biggrin.gif

So basically, 090909 - took TT sim & ported out TT to Digi in 1hr span blink.gif . 100909 - upgraded Digi Prepaid -> Digi Family (Supp) within 10min sweat.gif Digi Family activation was within few minutes!!

i reposting my PM to you here so that others can refer smile.gif

I went to Berjaya Times Square.

-- went to 2nd floor, Digital Centre, Aero Communications dealer to collect my TuneTalk sim card. Since it's new, the dealer is not expert yet (cuz he need to access TuneTalk's internet to retrieve card info, register my name/IC, etc.)

-- went to 1st floor, Digi Centre, to upgrade my postpaid DG30 -> DG50 cuz i need to 'adopt' the new 010 line as my supp. Then I asked to port out my 010 TT. The rest info are in the PM below...

QUOTE
yeah, digi centre.

their staffs mostly don't know 'bout it.

Tell them the following:

1) Tunetalk is a new telco brand.
2) It uses 010 number.
3) Ask them just process the MNP asap (they still didn't know that their system can accept 010 port-in!)

Once done, they'll give you an unactivated sim card (digi). use it on the phone so that you'll know when the activation completes.

else, call this number: 016-221 1800 (general line).

huh?

Tunetalk roams on Celcom's 2G network. so how do you consider "original Tunetalk" leh?

btw, Tunetalk = U Mobile Prepaid (2G mode) = roaming using Celcom's 2G network infrastructure only. Most ppl misunderstood U Mobile's network thingy.

U Mobile got ITS OWN INDEPENDENT 3G NETWORK ("U MOBILE" name) at Klang Valley, Seremban and Ipoh. Of course prepaid users works here as well. However, if you're outside of KV/Seremban/Ipoh, u can only use 2G network only, but still with "u mobile" telco name.

Oops, ter-advertise U MObile hahah cuz i'm a UM postpaid (for Surf With U broadband) blush.gif

it's typical for new services by any1.

users are not many, promotions are not attractive (rate plans).

just give 'em some time to prepare more stuffs to promote.

ya the rate plan are really not attractive,
quite expensive and charge on 60 second per block..

somemore jz now the dealer complaint that tune talk still hv quite many problems,
and many ppl go to buy sim pack but don wanna buy reload card,
he only can earn RM2 but mayb he has to serve a customer for 1 hour to choose the number,
waste his time..

i registered through freedom2talk.org few months ago, not via tunetalk.com, mayb they need time to prepare the special ID to rest of us? but i think all should be done by computer, not by human, rite? why some already got it, but some not..
tune talk is really giving us a bad reputation on their 1st..
*
patient dude, is by human anyway, i also jus get the email today, and already activated smile.gif

you check your balance through phone or tunetalk.com? when you activate the number(1st call/sms) it should be showing 'Active" , 'transit' means haven't activate
