D98, kota bharu.. pretty slow.. normally i always get 2.5mbps .. maybe too many users from outside kota bharu balik kampung here

my broadband will auto dc after conect for some hours.
is there any way or program to make it auto connect when connection drop...or make it connect without dc

one reason i use ubuntu is because auto reconnect.
signal strengh much better with linux. windows 3g watcher detect 1 bar, umtsmon/network manager detect 4 bar !

Auto redial...
Dunno if can using the existing modem software; Mobile Connect / Mobile Partner hmm.gif

But what i do is, whenever we connect using the Mobile Connect , there will be a new Windows dial-up icon for that modem in the Network Connections folder.

Whenever i want to connect my celcombb, i only use that windows dialer. I didn't use the Mobile Connect, So cannot monitor your usage. But after you dial using the windows dialer, you can open Mobile Connect. to monitor your usage

To make it to auto redial, just right-click on that windows dialer,

go to Properties > Option and set you preferences smile.gif

Must connect using the windows dialer to make it auto-redial when disconnect

To make it easier for me, i even create a shortcut for that dialer and place it in my windows Startup folder so that it will automatically connect every time my windows start

i am lucky to get 1mbps on D98 but i have switched to D68 a few months ago cos i am not getting what i paid for

i guess its 5gb not 3gb..

yups...2G networks down since 6hours ago....3G networks live without problem...but some reported that 3G networks in certain places start to congested since all 3G users automatically ported to 3G networks in order to send sms n make a call...

where is yr location? here in sepang seems to be working fine...

I'm in Cyberjaya actually. I was stucked at Authenticating message until 6 PM. Had no chance to test it since right now I'm in the office.

most probably yr area is congested since all 3G phone users currently using 3G networks to send/receive msg/call bcoz of 2G networks failure...
