I heard that if we want to change package, it only can be done after 12 month subscription, does it true? I am thinking to upgrade mine into advance package.

QUOTE(rainingzero @ Aug 9 2010, 10:46 PM) Actually, it depends on your browsing habit. If you just surf the net, probably 3GB is enough But website nowadays so canggih, got flash, rich contain.. can consume your bandwidth without you know it Like youtube, facebook games, etc. If you are a heavy downloader, 3GB is totally NOT ENOUGH! Just my 2 cents This post has been edited by de4thscythell: Aug 9 2010, 10:55 PM |

Something is wrong with my simcard. >_> I can't access this certain site I frequently visit. It kept connecting and suddenly timed out. I tried it with my old modem and the same thing happened. It must be the simcard. At first, I can access the site and then later it won't access anymore. What should I do? u.u

QUOTE(de4thscythell @ Aug 11 2010, 08:55 AM) Yes. I can open other sites. It has its time to be down but seriously, I tried like 20 times and it never been able to connect to the site. I even unplugged the cable and reconnect. It worked before on the old modem, but now it won't work at all. |

speed upgrade, but usage decreased... what's the point for giving high speed but totally limited speed =/
even if its "upgraded"...the service will still be total terrible anyway. |

i dunno about you guys... but my d68 package now runs (free upgrade) to 512k speed and maintains the monthly quota of 5gb. surfing and download speed wise, improved a lot and i am enjoying it more. no complains so far since i hv been using it for more than half a year now. except that once in a blue moon that the connection suddenly will DC.

QUOTE(de4thscythell @ Aug 12 2010, 11:33 AM) hi. its stated in my online usage enquiry and also i just received a notification that my quota is nearing its limits. so yea, its 5gb per month quota. See my print screen below that i just took minutes ago. my colleague using d68 also told me his quota is still maintaining at 5gb. now the new throttle speed is at 128k for d68 package same with d98 package. ![]() Added on August 12, 2010, 1:51 pmi think i know why some of u guys complaining about the d68 package having 3gb quota. its for new subscribers while existing customers like me they maintain at 5gb quota. seems unfair for new subscribers and i feel that celcom should maintain d68 at 5gb quota eventhough they up the line speed. news here: http://www.mobileworld.com.my/v3/apps-and-...s-launched.html keyword: "Also, the good news for existing Celcom broadband subscribers, especially those on the D68 plan, is that their speed has been upgraded from 384 to 512Kbps while they continue to pay RM68 per month but still enjoy the same 5GB monthly quota. D98 plan subscribers will continue to pay RM98 per month for up to 3.6Mbps with 5GB quota. This plan is identical to the Advance Package.
