QUOTE(Kobis Bunga @ Oct 30 2009, 08:39 PM) According to the website, it state that for weekly BB, FUP is 2GB.butf rom my experience, I can maage to use up to 10GB and yet no capping... same here, been using weekly BB about a month, downloaded files bout 20Gb++ already (torrent) using utorrent, but download speed can reach max 50kBps only (using k800i as modem, normally 35-45kBps) sometimes websurfing at the same time, the speed is still reasonable but i guess it depends on the area itself also. tried at sec2 near sirim building, the speed is faster n quite stable even on rainy days compared wif sec7 p/s : wired broadband still da best for torrent-ing,websurf.. owh2, miss my old time wif stimix This post has been edited by falkenst115: Nov 10 2009, 10:16 PM |

Hello may i ask, the D98 package..is it that my speed will reach 3.6Mb/s? That's much faster than Streamyx's 2.0 Mbps package right?

hi all
i have problem using celcom bb, hope someone can help.i have use celcom for 3 month, all the 2 month it running smooth but the 3rd month i cant connect to the connection anymore. At the beginning i think it is the modem problem or maybe bcoz i pay the bill late, but then, i call celcom and they already accept my payment. When i put the sim card in my 3g phone the connection keep getting lost for a few minutes.have anyone facing this problem? |

QUOTE(pcboy @ Nov 10 2009, 07:48 AM) I don't think so.. the 'Fair Usage Policy' is applied worldwide.. not only m'sia.. and Celcom is good enuff to cap at 5Gb.. maxis 3Gb only *sigh* but celcom's 5GB is very strict....5gb n auto capped... My friend using maxis until got warning sms only then capped... used nearly 7-8GB already... im in my last month of D98 package contract .... connection in my area pretty slow bcoz too many ppl use celcom bb... might try other ISP or juz get student package |

QUOTE(nshady @ Nov 12 2009, 01:39 PM) Readed through some pages...most of the people subscribed to D98 3.6 Mbps got below 1.0 Mbps of speed... D68 also below 1.0 Mbps speed..u know what i mean? speed is one thing, stability is another thing.. speed for broadband varies depend on location, and wired broadband offering a stable connection.. since GOV had recently looking to enhance the Broadband infra..i rather no to commit for a long term package..i'm sure there will be more good offer and packages to come at a very competitive price..RM11 billion budget is allocated for this purposes, i'm sure all broadband provider could take a benefit of it, hence, improving their services.. Now P1 starts marketing their "potong" thingy, wiggy we can get for free..streamyx waiving deposit and installation fee.. more battle to come, especially when DiGi start penetrating the market.. buy a USB modem that can be used for all broadband provider..and try it urself temporarily see how the broadband markets move, unless if u can't wait.. |
