I plan to subscribe to celcom broadband prepaid or advance.

1) Can desktop PC use celcom broadband ?
2) what modem do I need ? Any modem also can ?
3) what is the speed of celcom prepaid in kbit/s ? they say 384kbps

changing it to celcom.net.my made a lot of difference for me... no more frequent disconnection at kota kemuning...

I'm currently considering to get a mobile broadband for my home. I'm surveying all available options which afaik celcom, maxis, digi and p1.

I checked the coverage map at every service provider website and it seems that My home at melaka are only covered in 3g. (no hsdpa).

1) Which has the best service between this four? (celcom, maxis, digi and p1).
2) I'm thinking to get package that support hsdpa (for example celcom advance 98). Do you think it is worth to take that package when my area is not covered?
3) Reading this thread, it seems that many members are having problem with the broadband. IS the service that bad?
4) While looking around, I came across a reseller which sell modem at rm139... if pay a more can get a modem that support 7.2mb/s. any advantage for getting this modem?

well, eventhough it was capped at 5gb, my celcom bb was even throttle down eventhough i only use like 100mb of transfer.. not evn 1 gb yet!,
evn to get 5kb/s is also very hard!
