It is no wonder why the Dell concept stores don't put the machines on display. I think they are too scared to show this netbook to anybody.

No one with the right frame of mind will buy this netbook after seeing the battery. It is so misleading to see the Dell website of an image of a person holding the netbook with mere two fingers.

Trust me, it sticks out like 2 inches on the bottom.

Bibby Girl, try to return it or sue Dell Malaysia as the image shown is misleading.

Within the first two weeks of your purchase, you can return your Dell product for a full refund as stated here. I would call them back and ask about that if I were you.

then sue them. It is misrepresentation. The product does not match the description. Speak to a manager and ask him or her who you can direct the lawyer's letter to.

I'm thinking to grab Dell laptop this month but still waiting for the great week deal since 1st Dec .. this week deal will be end by 17 December but currently not attractive .. I wonder if it's better to buy after 17 Dec? Perhaps Christmas deal? or end year sales? Did the deal I mention exist in previous year ? Anyone have an experience buying Dell laptop a weeks before Christmas or perhaps the end of year sales? Sorry for a lot of question .. hmm.gif

Thanks .. dunno where to ask this .. sweat.gif

Review Dell Inspiron 11z Notebook

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Dell-I...ok.23037.0.html

Pro
+ Clearly higher performance than netbooks
+ HDMI
+ Small, quiet and light
+ Low power usage
+ Good worksmanship
+ Multi-touch function
+ Hardware installed in the laptop is typical for its class

Contra
- Glossy display
- Delicate lid
- No VGA (important for those users who use older peripheral devices)
- Only moderate battery life
- Difficult to upgrade the internal components

Dell Inspiron 11z Unboxing Video

http://www.liliputing.com/2009/12/unboxing...ight-video.html

*seriously, this is one ugly unit with 6-cell battery popped out at the back. yeah, some users here already bought it and got a shock after receiving it.

and it could be a reason why Dell wouldnt sell/display it on their retail stores!!*
