Guys, I'm conducting a survey - commonly we buy fish from fish shop but would you think it's convenient if there was a way to get high quality fish, same as market rate (or maybe lower), and hand delivered to your house (if within Klang Valley)?
What about aquariums and fish supplies? Do share your thoughts! |

its convenient of course but since its delivered to doorstep, can we still choose the fish or we have to accept whatever we are given?

QUOTE(bluswhitehat @ Feb 13 2014, 12:08 AM) sometimes buying a fish is not really only lies on the beauty of it.. maybe for me only la but i prefer to see the real fish 1st.. see got feel or not.. hahahaha.. anyway is depends on the purpose u buy it la.. if u plan to keep it for leisure i highly believe feel is important. However, for food supplies and aquarium, if got lower price and deliver to my doorstep i will definitely say YES. CAuse those can be choose from picture unlike live stock. |

for live stock especially fish, you have to observe its swimming, its eye, its reaction and response in order to select the best specimen.
through picture alone, you cannot really determine much. furthermore after transportation the fish condition sure drop which makes it even harder to determine a good fish. this is the constraint of buying live fish, but for supplies and accesories as wat edmund mention its a definite yes of coz. |

hi sifus, im helping a friend of mine to ask, recently i gave him some microworms to cultivate as very often i see him buying those bloodworms for his discuss, so he gave it a try feeding them the microworms. The next day he told me both the discus died after feeding the microworms.
he asked whether is it possible that the worms in large amount enter its gills and caused the death im feeling so bad now, he paid so much for his discus |

No need to feed with microwworms as the worms are way too small.he asked whether is it possible that the worms in large amount enter its gills and caused the death im feeling so bad now, he paid so much for his discus In fact, better culture grindal worms, as it is also suitable for adult as well. |

QUOTE(Vio @ May 12 2016, 03:11 PM) i believe they're adult (around 1 years old) Aiyyaarrrkkk!!! Microworms wayyyyyy tooooo small to be fed to 1 year old adult. do you think by feeding them microworms is the cause of death? Sometimes how you harvest the microworms would lead to water being polluted too. One year old can be fed with frozen blood worms or discus pellets. |
