But I think they won't do any COC or COD at Seri Kembangan.
Their lens is appeared to be cheaper than Shashinki too.

Added on October 14, 2009, 12:31 pm QUOTE(alantch @ Oct 14 2009, 11:31 AM) I buy ALL of my SFs from the USA from personal users, most of them in good to excellent /mint condition for a fraction of the price. Just have to keep an eye out for them in the CPFMP. Hi Alantch, oh, really, that sound like a good way, thanks for sharing. How about the shipping? usually they ship without insurance and no signature required, right? This post has been edited by susuman: Oct 14 2009, 12:31 PM |

QUOTE(pseudoblue @ Oct 16 2009, 10:37 AM) hey susuman, finally... dropped my quark AA on tiled floor @ 1ft That is what I mean, the 4sevens anodize is not very tough, my 123^2 now use by my son, almost a silver ring covert the whole head, the tail is also as bad. Thinking may be sand paper it to make it a stainless steel ring look. I find the Fenix's TK40 anodizing is alot tougher than TA21, LD10 and quark's.. |

QUOTE(strinq @ Oct 19 2009, 08:20 AM) Just to add into Strinq statements, all the incans should use primaries or within the voltage range to avoid bulb burn or shorten life, but for some LED (eg: E2DL), some CPF reported the input is up to 9V, so it should accommodates 2 RC123 7.4V-8.4V, I tested 2x3.7v on my E2DL, it was ok. Anyway, I am using a 3.3V LifePO4 on the E2DL, just to make sure it doesn't stretch the driver too much For Incans, I have not test using the 3.3V LifePO4, but I assume it should be ok, because primaries is about 3.2-3.3V too Just my 1 cent Bro Old NewsPaper, where you intended to buy the surefire? is it cheaper and safe (any insurance to ship?). For the recommendation, I have a E2DL, it is very bright (brigther than the Fenix PD30 245lm) and the throw is far (just little bit below Jetbeam RRT-2), while the flood is very useful, it has 2 mode low and high. And it can be double as a self defend instrument. Just the other 1 cent. |

yes, the LifePO4 is rated at 3V but the max voltage when fully charged is 3.3V, just like the Li-io, rated 3.7V, fully charge is 4.2V.
So if LifePO4 is 3V, meaning the charge is almost depleted, need a charge. Oh, if you are intended to use 3V LifePO4 and your charger is only 3.7V, then I have a trick, to charge the 3V battery with a 3.7V charger, like my trust fire TR-001, no need to buy additional charger. If got the chance, I post some photo later. Just for info, 3V LifePO4 is charged at 3.6V, while 3.7V Li-ion is charged at 4.2V Oh, you know there is local dealer and distributor in Malaysia (for local warranty), but the price is not as good as bring in from US lar. QUOTE(old newspaper @ Oct 19 2009, 10:32 AM) thanks bro for the info....i thought LifePo is rated at only 3.0V? correct me if i'm wrong. i'm might be buying it from a US online retailer and get it send back to be by hand carried.. there's many review saying that LX2 is just that bit brighter than E2DL....so still undecided which to get and now also waiting for the upcoming LX1 [ using single cell ] ![]() If, so I also want!! |

With any info, already 6 Group Buy, we are really group of crazy flashacholic, anyway, not into the GB, because 2 AA is not my liking length/style, happy to see you guys ordering anyway.
Btw, old newspaper, are you sure 10 pcs no issue with custome, I bet they might hold up the parcel and tax 30%+10% if they declare as flashlight (heard that declaring as TORCH has only 10% sales tax). I am not sure about these importing, but my hunch is that 1-2 unit in soft/bubble envelopes will not be tax, but in a box parcel I think very likely. Just 1 cent. |

QUOTE(RookieDaddy @ Oct 19 2009, 08:17 PM) susuman, not sure where you get the 30%+10% from if declare as flashlight, but there are no separate HS codes for flashlight nor torch, you can lookup HS code from our custom website. if you are tax, then it's a 10% sales tax and no other. Oh, thanks for the info, you seems to work in custom, as old newspaper saying, do custom scan parcel individually? Just curious, not that I am going to import dangerous goods.old newspaper, with any luck, if the parcel is small, you may just get it thru without any issue. but do know the HS code in case you need to fill-in for declaration. some info in pm. Btw, hear that thing from a flashacholic importer But maybe you could enlighten us with more info, so we are better prepared, members don't have to listen to hear-says |

QUOTE(jwyj @ Oct 20 2009, 01:27 PM) I also got something. Nitecore EZ123 Q5. Seems a good deal, is it brand new, I mean you just got it or what? btw about the twist to turn off, will it too loose, which the head may fall off? I have a AAA, which I had few incident drop the head because it was loosen to turn it off. I wonder why no clicky?[attachmentid=1260342] But I'm a bit dissappointed at the small size. Anyone wants it for RM140, free poslaju? I will throw in 1 piece of surefire 123 use for less than 5 minutes. ps: does it come with a holster? QUOTE(z-b-i @ Oct 20 2009, 02:54 PM) I wonder if anybody can do a modding service? I have an old light, Elektro Lumens Ft-3C, with a Luxeon and it could do with a new emitter. Haha, why push to me Anybody? But, yes though my day time work is not in electronics, but modding electronic things is my hobby since my high school, and I was taking electronics in University Ok back to the mod, yes zbi, Luxeon, hmm you know how many watt is it? And what new emitter you intended to use, some emitter required the change of driver circuit, so it is all depends, you have to bear in mind the cost whether it is worth to upgrade emitter or buy a new flashlight, I can help to make it as my hobby, so don't worry so much of me. and do look out for emitter and driver board here in DX LED DIY Parts This post has been edited by susuman: Oct 20 2009, 03:35 PM |
