Why I got this error when I want to link my Maybank debit card to PayPal?
"This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card."
Please help

As far as I know Only Visa debit card. because you need a debit card number

To all, I realize that the GUI has changed but as I've already linked my paypal to my card, im not sure if I can re-create the process and update this tutorial. However, Im glad you found it helpful

FYI Paypal also now allows you to link your bank accounts instead of just credit cards. They are also on Twitter @MyMaybank if you need help

the GUI might have changed but I was still able to use this method as of January this year.

When I made a purchased paid by Paypal, money will be deducted from my Maybank Visa Debit Card and credit to my paypal account. Will I be charged a fee by Maybank?

Doesn't paypal now allow you to top up your funds directly from your local bank account? Why you folks still prefer to use debit card over that?

I think most of us here is talking about transferring from Paypal to Maybank.
Maybe only Maybank debit can do that.

Sorry what do you mean by you topup $200? Did you bank in RM200 to your Maybank account? It wont show automatically on your paypal. Only when you purchase or send money, then you will see the 200 in your maybank decrease.

I havent noticed if Maybank charged a certain fee. However, be reminded that paypal exchange rates are different.


Did you manage to sucessfully link your card? You do not need to top up your paypal account. it should just automatically minus funds from ur maybank.
