That means when I buy sth via paypal, they with withdraw money from my maybank account. And, if someone pay me via paypal, equivalent they pay to maybank account & my balance in maybank will increase.

Is my understanding correct?! smile.gif

No. Think of Paypal as your middle man.

Ok assuming 1USD = RM3;
Your Maybank account - Balance remaining: RM100
Your Paypal - Balance remaining : USD 0

Imagine this scenario

(1)You pay your friend USD10
Maybank account = RM100 - RM30 = RM70
Your Paypal = USD 0
Your friend gets = USD10

then (2) Your friend realizes that you overpaid him, so he wants to return USD5
Your friend = -USD5
Your Paypal = USD5 <---your paypal credits has increased
Maybank account = RM70 <---this is not changed from Scenario 1

Hope that helps

I think if u need to pay out, they will take from yr debit card, but when ppl pays you, it goes in yr paypal, when you need to cash it out, you will need to do a request.

Help me! I won an auction on ebay the other day. I have successfully linked my maybankard visa debit card to my account but I cant seem to pay the seller. I keep getting error messages whenever I try to pay the seller. My paypal balance is about $42 and the item costs about $800. At the payment page, tt shows that my visa card has RM2,459.52 MYR but I have more than that in my bank account! When I click confirm payment I'm directed to an error page.

It says..
We were not able to process your payment.
Please check out again and try a different credit card or bank account for your PayPal payment.
If you are still having problems contact PayPal customer support.

Please tell me whats the problem here. Also, whats MSOS? I cant find any MSOS link on my maybank2u account page. I heard that the procedure for MSOS is changed. But how come I could link my card successfully to my paypal account without any MSOS thingy? This is getting so confusing. I dont wanna keep the seller waiting.

Thank you so much.!

MSOS link is no longer availble from M2U Dashboard.

You need to call them (M2U Cust. Svcs ) for help.

Hmm, the links stated are for CREDIT card MSOS registration. Is it applicable for debit card MSOS registration?

for those that use the Maybank Visa Debit ATM card (the one with the Cherry pic), you can just straight away proceed with Step No.3, as there is no need for MSOS registration.. have tried this before, and successfull!! smile.gif

and also thanks to this tutorial... biggrin.gif

This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card.

I have a question regarding the funding source for Paypal. I have both the Maybank debit card (ATM card) and credit card (Amex & Master).

Which card shall I use as the funding source? Will there be any additional charges if I use credit card vs debit card? I'm thinking to use the Amex as the points are higher.

Thanks

I can confirm there is no need for MSOS registration. Just jump to step 3 and all done in 24 hours.

I just did mine. My 3rd time verify the card after Hong Leong cancel 2 of my debit card.

The credit card or debit card no need to be own card to be use with paypal. I always use my wife card.

Thanks guys!

Updated the tutorial on 10/1/12 : As there is no need for MSOS registration, I have hidden these steps (Step One & Step Two) in spoilers.

Anyway.. I found how MSOS work now.

http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards

before this we register the MSOS code but now become one time code, like TAC.
