consider the more dedicated player Panasonic BD-60, retailing at RM1499 to 1899 ( but pm "htkaki" for best buy prices ) many forumers had tested it on bigger screens too and its on 1st class recommendation

if you want below 1k ...check out the new phillips BDP3000, think some one mention retailing at RM799

alternative if you r a gamer take a peek at the coming PS3 Slim

lastly.. if you r looking for something extra with build in HDD for multimedia features... shud consider the Dune 2.0 (old model) new model dune 3.0, but unfortunately not available locally, worth giving it a tinkle!!
