QUOTE(phoniex_pog @ Aug 10 2009, 09:38 PM) when i click it it show this warning "Failed to create a new partition on the selected unused space. [error: 0x8004240f] " try this...http://www.techpavan.com/2009/03/24/0x8004...plete-solution/ i guess it's the recovery partition that somehow seems to be the problem... AMD Fusion will work on any computers with AMD CPU... same theory as that game booster thingy...
iirc AMD Fusion is even more extreme, can even shut down the anti-virus... so use with caution... imho, as long as u got do ur housekeeping and sufficient RAM, u dun need such stuff to help u... |

it depends on how u setup in the Catalyst Control Center...
either center (means black stripes around) or maintain aspect ratio (no black stripes but blurry graphic)... how abt 1600x900??? that seems to be a balance... |

QUOTE(Xehanort @ Sep 6 2009, 12:39 PM) performance difference between them for 3dmark06, 4570-4k vs 4670-around 7k lol... sound so like me in other threads... 4570 only can handle most nowadays games in low-medium settings check this website for more info, there are 4570 & 4650 benchmark, which u can use it as reference since u want play starcraft2 & diablo3, which are still not sure will be released on 2010 IMO u better choose studio xps 16 |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Sep 6 2009, 11:14 AM) Yes, I'm not much of a gamer but I would like to install some games so that I can play when I have time. Games like FIFA 09, the upcoming Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, Command and Conquer 4... If I were to stick to a Dell Studio 15, would these games run well on it? not much of a gamer... Thing is I dont know what's the performance difference between the 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 and the 512MB ATI Radeon HD4570. Can you advise? but the games u play sure need a good GPU to run... Studio XPS 16 gets my vote for ur case... |

once u remove the AC adapter, ATi PowerPlay will drop the clock to conserve battery, and Intel EIST would limit the multiplier of the CPU as well...
so it's definitely normal that the frame rate dropped... stick to High Performance mode under power options of Vista if u want to maintain the performance... but u sacrifice battery time if u do that... |

QUOTE(WhiteFlag @ Sep 12 2009, 11:15 AM) they only shifted earlier this yr...anyway, it's not really a big deal... at least 80% of the components in a computer are all made in china anyway... This post has been edited by astria: Sep 12 2009, 09:19 AM |

QUOTE(WhiteFlag @ Sep 12 2009, 12:18 PM) in fact computer parts seldom make in china, proc normaly msia, harddisk normaly sg or msia or pilipines or even thailand, the only thing made in china in my computer is only dvd-rom, keyboard/mouse, speaker those not important parts. Intel has a 65nm fab plant churning out chipsets in China... seriously, i dun see the problem of parts made in china... as long as they are of quality stuff and QC is good... |
