the HDMI audio driver does not come with Catalyst for Mobility Radeon...

either use the Catalyst for Radeon to update, all get from Realtek...`

My system is Vista 64bit.  And there are clearly no drivers for 4570.

i chose dell bcos of the processor and overall specs
de processor is quite a big diff, check out benchmarks n u will see wat i mean
if u haf the $ n require tis kind of specs, then dell
14" / 15" would b up to ur preference.
mobility vs. workspace.
there's a dell shop in midvalley to test out dell stuffs.

if u go for dell,
other things u might consider
9 cells batt. -longer life n higher slanted typing, which i like, but +100/150g
backlit kb - jst too dem cool  wub.gif

well, the strength of AMD CPU is the low memory latency and high memory bandwidth...

even Core 2 1066MHz FSB can not match up to that...

actually the competitor of Studio 15 from Asus should be U80V... 14" 2.1kg with backlit keyboard and 5hrs batt life...

and also, as i ve said in other threads, BenQ S42 is worth considering if u can afford Studio 15 with P8700... S42's latest price has been reduced to rm3250... someone even bought it for rm2899 without OS...

Thanks Astria

From what i read in the release notes it didnt mention support for 4570. So it feels like this 4570 is like an unwanted child and not recognized in the family.
Is the 4570 part of the 4550 series or the 4500 series or the 4000 series. So confusing. -below the release notes-

AMD Desktop Product Family Support
ATI Radeon™ HD 4890 Series        ATI Radeon™ HD 4550 Series
ATI Radeon™ HD 4870 X2 Series  ATI Radeon™ HD 4350 Series
ATI Radeon™ HD 4850 X2 Series  ATI Radeon™ HD 3800 Series
ATI Radeon™ HD 4800 Series        ATI Radeon™ HD 3600 Series
ATI Radeon™ HD 4700 Series        ATI Radeon™ HD 3400 Series
ATI Radeon™ HD 4670 Series        ATI Radeon™ HD 2900 Series
ATI Radeon™ HD 4650 Series        ATI Radeon™ HD 2600 Series
ATI Radeon™ HD 4600 Series        ATI Radeon™ HD 2400 Series

dun look at Catalyst for Vista...

use Catalyst for Win7... there's 1 for Mobility Radeon HD2000, HD3000 and HD4000...

thanks for the reply...

im planning to get a Studio 14..
may i know what are the pros and cons of this model?

i use it for video editting (HD), song editting, lil bit of graphic design, then others will be normal usage...
*
well, if u can afford Studio 14, i prefer BenQ S42 instead...

cheaper with better performance...

already tried that, didnt work out.
i changed the system locale, nothing happen.
then i restart windows, also nothing happen.
nothing happen means non-Unicode program still cannot display the non-Unicode word.
