i agree with rayz1031, r u sure no other application is running?
i alwaz multi-tasking b4 & no lagging problem
besides, it is normal tat cpu usage so high when watching 1080p video, depends on the player tat u use, eg. when i use kmplayer, the cpu usage is core 0 70% while core 1 just 12%, if use mpc then both cores exceed 50%
hd4570 & p8600 sux if u compare with desktop hardware, they r quite good laptop hardware tat u can get with 3k budget
do u use it in battery mode? in battery mode, the performance will drop down for power saving even in high performance power option
What OS you running on? Vista or Win 7? I agreed that with 3k you can get a great desktop but with laptop, P8600 and HD4570 is quite good already.

They would? LOL...If they will, i can give it a try

Well, yes, apparently my first problem was the top panel (the black part where the speaker resides) are abit loose. So, i called up, and instead of changing the whole laptop, they decided to change the panel only. Since then, the "too sensitive" touch button appears. Called up again, and they change the panel again. But problem still occurs. Lazy to call again, and decide to stick with it (for a couple of months).
And when i found out its annoying again, i call again, and they replace the damn panel again, and same problem still there. I wonder they never realise changing the top panel wont work.
Its a 1 year, standard warranty you get when you purchase the S15. If 2 years, it cost RM1k which is extremely unworthy, at least to me.
The sim card was never meant to be used here. At least thats what i found out. Searching the net did says that it is somehow designed for some place overseas that has the ability to use the slot instead of some mobile broadband thing etc. I tried it before as well and you can never detect it. Probably you need some built in HSDPA modem or something.
Got this fella that have problem with his Studio XPS, he complain until Dell give him full refund
I quite lucky with Dell laptop, never face a constant problem. The only time I had problem is my GS8400 on Inspiron 14 decide to gone kaput. That time they come to fix it for 3 times. Watch them rip my mobo apart and install it again
I got another friend which is M1530 spoiled after warranty finish but Dell still fixing it FOC. That is why I like Dell, very good customer service and after sales services.

im using performance power option and min and max cpu state set to 100%, and i just format and install win7 in roughly a month.
the thing is it works fine, just occatioanlly become sluggish for no reason, for example i need to wait few seconds to show the msg i type in msn...
i figure out one reason make my laptop sluggish which is flash player, when the flash player is running in browser, the cpu will ridiculously shoot up to 100% for both core, sometimes it still sluggish even flash player is not running, i wonder why that will happen.
well, mayb im paranoid?
Win 7? The only problem I can spot is either the driver or the flash player is outta date. Update your driver and flash player and open Task Manager to see what is the software running on the background. Need to wait few second to type in msn? This problem not even occur when I'm using Inspiron 14. I can confirm is not the hardware issue, it up to your laptop configuration.
