Hmm... even though this is a new lappie, it does get laggish/sluggish after I leave it on or idle for lets say a day....
Then I'll have to restart/reboot it to make it run naturally again. This has happened even to my previous desktops and laptops. Is this normal? And can anyone give me a clear explanation on this?
Thanks!
Well Grimm, it depends on what is the application or program that you running. If you have a software running in the background such as Thunder/Flashget/BitComet, it will contribute to the sluggishness. If you really just let it there and no software running, it should have no problem, one main reason I could think for the sluggishness is the heat on the HDD. My machine get sluggish whenever the HDD is heated, I normally DL+Gaming so the HDD and Ram bay is really hot as I not using any cooler.

Hey all,
Got a question similar to XiuKeong's...
Dell Studio 15 (i5, 6GB RAM, HD 5470)- is the Studio 15 chassis capable of handling the heat generated by these parts effectively?
The chassis is capable to handle the heat, if not Dell will never take the risk to release the model. That spec won't generate that much of heat for a new machine, to maintain it in the long run, better invest in a good laptop cooler.Got a question similar to XiuKeong's...
