can i know which brand of food you are providing for your hamster? so far my hamster eat all the food in the vitakraft dinner, just some time eat less on the pellet form. others sure sapu finish asap. lol

oh ya actually i got a question...i have no idea why they dunno how to sand bath themself lol. The sand i put in separate box cause the cage got no space, everytime i put them inside they will like try to escape..after a while they sleep inside pulak =="

if u wana make ur hamster sand bathing, u can 1st bath them wit warm water and wipe dry them(or juz spray hamster shampoo or simply wipe them wit wet cloth if u mind) , then put them into bathing sand, then they will roll. but cant stop them from peeing on the sand, indeed this is good if u use cat sand since the pee will be harden, remove it and ur hamster and cage will be odorless.

Hi, I'm planning to buy a new winter white.

Is it advisable to get just one only? As i heard if put 2 together, they might fight. Also i don't want to have to have a lot of baby hamsters later on when they breed.

I am planning to leave the hamster in my room... would it be harmful as there's poor ventilation?

Also winter white life span usually how long?

I'm a hamster lover but my mum doesn't let me to have a hamster because she very afraid of rats.. I know hamster & rat is different very big lor but my mum doest think like that.. Ohh recently my bf brought a Robo.. V name him "Hamtari".. He getting fat & chubby.. Hehe..

Actually i got some question to ask about my robo.. Last time when we brought him at pet shop we just but him a packets of kuaci onlt cause we thought it's the main foods for hamster but after reading thru then i realize that kuaci actually very bad for hamster.. No wonder my hamster getting chuby & fatter. I quickly call my bf & yes he said my hammy can eat 6-7 kuaci per day de.. Oh my.. is it really very unhealthy?

What foods actually suit for my little hamtari? & he very active at night de.. Running on the wheel.. Run here & there but during day he always sleep & very seldom run on the wheel de.. is it normal?

that is 1 great achievement you have there, as hamster take time to learn where to pee at a certain place, mine all end up in the sand bath, imagine the sand just stick on the bowl hahaha.... well sleeping in the pee place, maybe he find the place comfortable for their rest or nap, that possibility. for smell i dont think they bother much, as the cage we hv for them, they also pee around, n the scent stay with them, so they get used to it. but i bet ur hamster just sleep a while at there n change place right. for me i got put 1 house for them to sleep whenever they feel like it. is a small matter no worry ^^

haha finally u saw ur hamster yawn leh, and got notice their razor sharp front teeth? if they didnt grind from time to time, u will feel geli with the sharp teeth they have. heheh scary leh if kena bite, sure we will jump up of shock.

regarding ur sand bath training, must have lots of patient, find a container that got some room and can fit the hamster, as long got space to move around is much prefer. oh ya dont force a hamster to do something that they dont understand or dont like, cause mostly u will end up in frustration, thinking why my little fella not going to use sand bath.

share  some experience with u, put the sand bath over there, and pick up some sand bath sand n drop on their fur. then they will try to shake the sand off, try do it from time to time, and once they know it, thy will automatically run towards it. for all my hamster, once i put the sand bath, omg.. all rush in it to roll over hahaha damn funny to see them sometime. Dont worry much candlenie they will figure it out, cause is their nature instinct .

regarding vitakraft food, currently pet shack got do promotion for dinner vitakraft which is the highest end of hamster diet. 2 pack for rm39. if not without promo will cost rm49.60. well the other vitakraft diet some cost roughly rm20++ or below rm20++ , which i found the vitakraft diet can last me 1 to 2 month max, with 4 pairs of hamsters. 

is rm100 enough for me to get the hamster a new cage + bedding + food?
