Hey, i wana ask is Chipsi Bedding good for hamsters? But recently i went to the store, i found out that all thier Chipsi Bedding contain Lemon and Apple flavor.. Wondering will it harm the hamsters? blink.gif
*
If on a budget, just go for Chipsi Super/Classic, and mix it with a little or half of breeder celect. Do avoid scented/pine bedding, it is harmful to your hammies. I now currently using about 50% breeder celect and 50% chipsi classic.

How long have your hammie been with you? If just within a month, thats to be expected. They need to get used to the surrounding, scent etc.

You may also try to use a glove and handle if all else fail. This is to make it to get used to being hand-handled. Try putting a piece of tissue in your pocket for awhile, so it can soak your scent, then place it into the cage, try it for a week or two.

Wish you luck!

are delikates brand good ? i've compared the analysis with habitrail pellet food and it seems that the nutriens are slightly higher than the habitrail ones .

btw is there any disease that a hammie can infect human being ?

Pinkie , for care fresh bedding im not sure but avoid buying pine / flavoured bedding cause its bad for them , you can try back-to-nature bedding from www.petshack.com it isnt exp too haha! btw roborovski is tiny and the fastest hamster of all species haha so there's no good way to handle it ! just avoid letting it drop haha!

hey guys =] i just got a pair of roborovskis~ they r so hard to pick up D: like they keep running, they r real fast~ any ideas i can pick em up?
also anyone got any idea where i can get carefresh bedding?
*
Hahaha.. I also got a pair of robo.. It is hard to tame robo cause they are wild hamster.. Not like Winter White and Syrian are more friendly which u able to play with them and tame them..

I usually never play with my robo cause is hard to pick them up too.. Last time when they are still few weeks old, i able to play with them.. As they grow older, they became more wild and hard to catch.. If i wana clean the cage, i just scoop them up with a small cup.. laugh.gif

You can try Back-2-Nature bedding or Breeder Celect.. This 2 is mostly recommend for hamsters.. Carefresh bedding hard to find cause only oversea have it.. smile.gif

Im sure it is safe to leave her alone for christmas.. Maybe give her some toys to play or biting stone.. So she wont bite the bottle..
if not, try playing wit her before you go celebrate your christmas party.. Im sure she will get some satisfaction before u leave smile.gif

the difference: undisturbed sleep

hamsters are nocturnal, thus being very active at night. the cheap ones can get really noisy as the wheel and stub rubs against each other. It can be temporary fixed by applying cooking oil (safer then machine oil if consumed) on the stub before inserting it into the wheel. be sure to wipe off excess oil as the hamsters will lick them.

cheaper alternatives is to put the hamsters far away from your bedroom.
