If i breed syrian need more money to spend.. 

that means...we need 3 tanks?
1 for larvae.
1 for pupae.
1 for beetle.
recycling method..does the maintainence cost high?
if u want dwarf for breeding.u also need more tank.as for i,i got 5 tank.4 plastic guppy 1.5 feet tank and 2 feet tank.they also sometimes fight out from the blue.just like the front page said..

Is your hamster sick?  or is he old?

Ryo, I agree that sometimes we really need to be harsh, but there are times when you should be attentive as well, I suspect something horrible might be happening to 'Alex' soon, or maybe he will be stuck there for good. We share knowledge here, not school them to newbies, we all were there once, so unless they are still ignorant after getting advice from us, then yes, go ahead and be harsh to them.

Just feel pity to that person la, just a few post now disappear d. Chill la!

Hey guys.
My hamster is about 2 years old now.
Brought him to the vet about few months ago & d doc said my hamster might be diagnosed with cancer as there was a small pinkish lump on the tummy. Gave him medication & all but it didnt seem to helped.
Now, the lump on the tummy has subside, but another bigger lump was found on his back. Often see my hamster twist his back to scratch it.
He's not as fluffy as before as some parts seem bald when he sleeps on his back.
His appetite is still good. But seeing the red lump on his back makes my heart ache. 

The doc thinks surgery might not be helpful due to my hamster's age & there are chances of the lump spreading to another area after removing the initial one.

What else can be done?

What hamster is this? im not expert in identifying the type of it.

can i use plain paper for my hamster bedding ?? because when i use the wood shed it make him keep sneezing ... so yesterday i change it to plain paper... its better then b4 ... can i do that? or any suggestion that i can put for bedding ???

and now my hamster always chew his cage... should i buy their chew toy?? does that help ???

i don want them pupu every where.. if i buy a potty for them will that help ? if they eat the potty rock what should i do ???

and can i give them drink vitamin everyday ??

I remember when I was young, I use to have couple of them. But now, most pet shop only have Syrian - long hair and dwarf hamster - which I find them fierce & noisy.

Please kindly let me know, I would like my daughter to keep as her pet.

Btw, i used to have a few syrians like few years back (prob 8 years, lol) and they always bite except one who doesnt bite me. They all died after 2 to 3 years

I'm wondering if there's any other breeds of hamsters that doesn bite? Like robo, etc?
