hi there all. how do you reckon that i use the 'PS3. ProxyServer (no installation, new enhanced version) by 3r1c' to download game updates or patches?

the instructions in the faq seem to only cater to those using 'PS3.ProxyServer (vista/64bit compatible version)'

perhaps adding instructions for the one by 3r1c to the FAQ would help too.

this site does a very good job in demonstrating how it works.

want to ask, is it fine to turn on wireless on ps3 while gaming? i know by doing this you can get the trophy update and stuff, but it wont shorten the lifetime of the console right? some shop claims it would heat up and encourage to switch off the wireless when gaming for hours.. hope someone can clarify to me.

Hey guys, im in serious need of help..my brother had set up the PSN account in his name but has now forgotten the password..worst still,he has also forgotten the password of the email account it is registered to,meaning that ive refreshed the password via PSN but they've sent the new password to the email account that its registered to!

Ive looked around online and i keep coming back to formating the PS3, but that would mean losing all the save game files..is there really no workaround..? No way to delete the PSN account or create a new one for the PS3 machine.? I asked the guy at the Sony store in Megamall and he recommended i buy the RM100 PSN card..would that work.? Or is he simply an idiot who doesnt know what he's talking about and is hoping for a sale..??

OMG, my ps3 suddenly hang while i was playing assasin creed 2. i quickly ejected the disk and turned off the ps3 and i heard beep beep beep sound. Then i turned on again and continue playing.
I just bought it less than one month.So is it normal if it suddenly hang?

usually how long it takes to update the firmware?

mine like taking more than half an hour and the screen still blank now @@

i'm using a LG w2253 monitor but when i plug in my ps3 it says digital out of range 377khz/30Hz? any way to solve it?

my friend got samsung p2350 monitor which got no hdmi and no speaker.. he intent to play ps3 on it... are there any way that he can output the ps3 audio? he connect his ps3 using hdmi to dvi cable. can this be done?

once was during modern warfare 2, i play multiplayer then suddenly hang

The other time was when i was web browser, i press x quickly twice and close, suddenly hang =(

i thought ps3 epicness can evade hang, next time gotta treat it more gently

i made a MY PSN ACC  for my sister, but i didnt put it as sub account ( i put master account )

i already have a existing master account (USA)

how do i change my sis account into sub?? Now cannot log in my sis acc cause its master =(

recently i didnt play ps3 due to load of job, but this few days when i tried to login in my US PSN ID, the msg show up i cant access psn using this account
error code: 8002A231

then i email n asked PSN support, they say i suspended due to debt of USD 50 [walao].....but my account inside still got USD 50+.

any1 face the same problem like me?
