You cannot swap HDDs between PS3s. You can however use 2 HDDs on the same PS3 What do I mean? You can swap your PS3s HDD with another HDD and use back the old one, provided you don't go about sticking it into other peoples PS3. IINM, the PS3 can only use the HDD if it formatted it.

QUOTE(vorchiel @ Jan 13 2010, 11:58 AM) my ps3 is downstairs and it can only get 22% signal (from ps3's wifi status) and cant connect properly to my wag54g which is upstairs. but a laptop can access internet just fine from the ps3's location. i gave up and opted for homeplug instead so now with the homeplug whats the percentage of ur wifi signal ?

QUOTE(NigeLRonaLdO297 @ Jan 15 2010, 11:19 AM) Hey Guys,i need some advice and feedback concerning my ps3. I bought RE5 in march and able to play it without problems in the first 4 months, then in the fifth month when i place the game in it just hangs and goes blank, have to restart the console after ejecting the disc. Then tried again for a few times with the same outcome...so just recently i gave my cousin to test it out at his console and it works perfectly fine ...i now there's nothing wrong with the console because i've been playing more than 10 games without any issues, just the RE5. Your help will be much appreciated check the inner ring of the disc. maybe got crack. or try update your FW.
