Anyways, mono_veronica.. Everyone start without the tag as well, so work your way up ya.. Once you got enough trade in your tradelist you can apply again. AND its not just about the tradelist, have to contribute to the forum as well.

Things to NOTE :

- Do not apply if you have very few trades, chances are we will not give you the tag.
- The tag is not just a tag, it would mean that you will have to adhere to a high level of conduct when doing transactions whether it be buying or selling. Failure to live up to the tag will result in it being removed, and if you lose it, you will never get it back.
- Those who are only active in the sales section and are barely part of this community as a whole also need not apply as the tag is about being a responsible trader in the community, not a profit hunter.
- It is hard for us to give you a tag if we do not know you personally. As such, when applying for a tag, get supporting references from members of the moderating team, if you know one, or well-known respected members of the community to back up your application.
- Traders who are here solely to make money from the forums and not to contribute to the development of our community will not be Safe Traders.
- If you have a warning for a trade related offence, such as indirect bump, having multiple accounts, opening multiple threads, you will not receive the tag.
- If you have a duplicate account, you won't get the tag. Yes we have a fairly accurate system of determining who has duplicate accounts. If we are in doubt, we will seek clarification from you. If your explanation is unsatisfactory, we will not give you the tag.

Well, those 2 highlighted rules means that you have to be actively contributing in the forum at least. You still need to work your way out.

You're qualified, but it'll be easier for the admins to assess you if you have a successful tradelist.

Here's another guy who doesn't read the first post thoroughly.

chill guys. we do go through each application, and if u are qualified, dont worry it will be given to u without any hesitation. just work ur way up not only by being active in the sales section but also by contributing into other subforums.

I would like to retry to apply for safe trader tag, its been a while since my last attempt, sorry for not making a successful trade list, i can make it if requested by admin, http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=436243&hl= here is the place i am doing trading most of all the time, and there is been alot deal happening,

1st, i am not a profit hunter ( of course i run a IT shop ) , i do need some traffic to run my business to be frankly, i do participate in sub forum,
2nd i do run a benq joybook club few years back, and sometimes when ppl pmed me for technical error, i am glad to help them with all the skill that i could use on.
3rd i do believe making money is not the only reason living in this world, there are a lot things that we can do apart from earning money.

to add on , i have doing trade in garage sales for around 5 years time, and there has been no complaint and no big issues happen before, so i wanted hope that i can get the tag, in order i can build up my reputation, and let new comer believe i am a trusted ppl to trade ... ^ ^

do let me know whether can i get the safe trader tag, hope to get the news from admin side soon ^ ^

I registered LYN on 2006, however I had to admit that I have only become active in this community for recent 3-4 years when I have very own internet, PC and space at home and office. Which I have enough time to login to LYN for at least 8 hours per day.
I always lurks in Kopitiam, Cupid Corner, The Fast & The Furious, Gamers Hideout, Cupid Corner, Renovation, Garage Sales sections and also frequently participated in Anime Shrine, Property Talks, Credit Card, Job & Career, Console Couch and Technical Support. I always help and share if I come across any problem or question that I have been through before, and of course some great talks in Kopitiam.

So far, I do not have any bad trade, and I started to keep track of the trades that I have done in LYN since 2009. I also kept the related messages in my PM inbox until a certain period.
The reason for me to obtain this tag is not to gain profit but to show credibility in this community, so friends in LYN can trust, have faith, peace of mind and feel safe when they want to trade with me.

A little about me in applying the Safe Trader Tag

1) Tell us why you deserve the tag. Convince us
-Never Fail to Disappoint Customer
Since i started as a small trader in lyn, i take this seriously. In my thread of selling Book Case, there's always shortage of stock as due to popular demand and buyer are willing to pay deposits or full payment to reserve their products. To avoid any worries of customers, i'll keep them with constant updates about the flow of stock from my supplier to me via PM / SMS / WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, i'll update every Tracking Number via PMs/ SMS / WhatsApp to buyer once i sent their items out. In COD, i'll try my best to solve customer's problem (etc : Step By Step Applying Screen Protectors, Checking of Items from Outer Part to Inner Part).
Lastly, every comments/inquiry by interested buyer will be replied shortly [less than 12 hours] =)

-Contributing Mostly in Apple Bytes (iPhone, iPad)
*Sharing knowledge about gadgets there, and offering helps in referring few trusted and reliable members in repairing gadgets to those who need it
*Joining the launching event of iPhone 4s with providing instant replies on the discussion thread about the latest tech announced instantly by the event.
*Providing honesty infos to customers as well by not just hunting for profit, will reply each inquiry and suggest the best recommendation of accessories to members.

-Every Consignment Note Kept Well
All items that was sent via Postage, there's always a receipt known as Consignment Note. I have keep it from my very very first deal till now for buyer's reference as well as personal reference. (Willing to provide any consignment note stated in my Successful Tradelist if MOD need for verification)

The Safe Trader tag will be a big motivation for me to bring in more services to lyn members. By committed with the 'Safe Trader' tag, i believe it will be my best passion in lyn in moving on. =)

Dear admins,

I wish to apply for the Safe Trader tag to further enhance my reputation in the trade market on this forum.

I registered on Lowyat forum in 2007, mainly to discuss and contribute to the forum “Education Essentials”. Later, I’ve also started selling and buying personal items on Stuff for Ladies for a good few months/years until now. Those transactions were personal and were not done with any intention of generating profit. Hence, I have no record of my buying and selling done on Stuff for Ladies. However, I have had no issues trading on Stuff for Ladies ever since I started.

For the past few years since middle of 2008, I contributed to a few of the forums, namely Travel & Living, Girl’s Club, Cupid Corner, Health & Fitness, and Food & Flavours. These forums are those that I frequent every time I’m on LYN. I also often check out threads in Trade Zone Resource Centre, Trade Zone Helpdesk & Dispute, Kopitiam Q&A, Pets Wonderland, Pregnancy & Parenting, Finance, Business and Investment, Education Essentials and Apple Byte, where I would contribute to the threads whenever possible.

Recently in January 2011, I started my own online part time business to sell iPhone accessories and services. Up until now, I do not have any dispute with any of my buyers and I do have a number of satisfied return buyers on LYN that purchase from me frequently. At the moment I have over 200 trades (not including personal trades, i.e. online shopping) done on LYN and have transform my part time online business into full time to better serve my customers. My business is registered with SSM and buyers bank into my business account instead of my personal account. I deal with customers via postage and COD. I give my best to serving customers and do not hesitate to provide them with any extra information whenever needed. I’ve only created a successful trade list for items traded under my business. Other than that, I had also made a handful of great friends thru LYN and I appreciate how LYN has made it possible for me to know such wonderful people. My main purpose on LYN is not to generate profit for my business, but to participate in the community. Members on LYN has provided me with lots of information and helped me whenever I needed help. I also try my very best to help the fellow members here with my knowledge and experience and have no intentions to stop contributing to the forums.

I also believe I have another account linked to this if you check for duplicate accounts. This ‘duplicate account’ was registered about a year before this account was registered. However, I had totally forgotten about it and was unaware of the account until I decided to change my email address of my current account a few years ago. Anyhow, I can assure you that that account is no longer active and I would be glad to explain to you in detail if you require any further clarification about it.

Finally, I hope you will look thru my application for the Safe Trader tag.

i believe my tradelist is sufficient for the tag, up to mods.
all transparent transaction, mostly COD for sales, and some postage for purchases.
so far no dispute thread against me
