The Successful TradeList is the main information needed to support your application for the SafeTrader Tag.

No one will lie about their sales trade right? Even lying wont work as the seller or buyer themselves have to post something out to support you for your application here. A safe trader tag is not easy to obtain by just saying "I wan to apply a safetrader tag". So, the selected safe trader's are basically save to trade with.

Still, not guaranteed that all safe trader's will be safe trading everytime. Who knows one day they become huge conman as well. Nobody knows. icon_rolleyes.gif

As far as I know, the tag is only given to those who have a good track record of successful trades. Doing a search of his post in the "Successful Trades Lists" thread only shows one short post with a few transactions, something I'm sure not worthy of the tag in question.

So why exactly does this particular user have the tag? Does he happen to be such a close friend of some admin here which warrants this bias in treatment?
And while we're at it, why is he even in the Elite group? Has he actually done some huge contribution I don't know of? I have nothing against this particular person-- it's just curiosity.

He might had contributed a lot pass all these years but you didn't notice only. Huge successful sales trade list is not the main thing needed to apply as a safe trader. You need to be really active in the forum as well.

The Admin/Staff/Mod have no bias treatment towards any forum-er in LYN. Even a senior like me did a silly mistake and get a warn increase last few weeks. So there is no bias treatment here.

There is no-one to PM, you will need prove of the seller's misconduct and let people judge. If there's a seller who conned you or there is a complaint on any seller, do open a topic at the Dispute Section.

Anyways, mono_veronica.. Everyone start without the tag as well, so work your way up ya.. Once you got enough trade in your tradelist you can apply again. AND its not just about the tradelist, have to contribute to the forum as well.

Quoted form the first post by se7en. Remember this.

Things to NOTE :

- Do not apply if you have very few trades, chances are we will not give you the tag.
- The tag is not just a tag, it would mean that you will have to adhere to a high level of conduct when doing transactions whether it be buying or selling. Failure to live up to the tag will result in it being removed, and if you lose it, you will never get it back.
- Those who are only active in the sales section and are barely part of this community as a whole also need not apply as the tag is about being a responsible trader in the community, not a profit hunter.
- It is hard for us to give you a tag if we do not know you personally. As such, when applying for a tag, get supporting references from members of the moderating team, if you know one, or well-known respected members of the community to back up your application.
- Traders who are here solely to make money from the forums and not to contribute to the development of our community will not be Safe Traders.
- If you have a warning for a trade related offence, such as indirect bump, having multiple accounts, opening multiple threads, you will not receive the tag.
- If you have a duplicate account, you won't get the tag. Yes we have a fairly accurate system of determining who has duplicate accounts. If we are in doubt, we will seek clarification from you. If your explanation is unsatisfactory, we will not give you the tag.
