The previous panel arrived on 14th but LCD broke. It should be available now. Almost 2 weeks already if still not yet here then you can gauge the low service level just to get a unit.

Just back from lunch. No one around for me to ask, but it is definitely not there yet...

Last time I heard from the guy was the broken panel was sent back to Samsung KL and they are awaiting for a new unit to be sent to them from Samsung Korea.

Is it so exclusive to get from Korea.

KL Samsung has lots of stock. See what I mean by them talking thru their asses.

It's made in Korea. If they are desirous to get for you it can be easily done in a few days.

Maybe you can try SenQ or SEC. They can check for you if it's in stock or is the demo unit available.

Damn confusing. But I know that the A is for those launched last year and B is for this year.

Bro Braveheart..."A" series is 2008 model, "B" series is 2009 model. That is the new naming convention they are using...

Anyways, Penang also don't have the PS50B550 plasma yet...I would love to compare those 2 side by side because from the spec looks like the only difference is "clear panel" on the 5 and "ultra clear panel" on the 6, besides the media playing capabilities on the 6 which I don't need at all.
