Messi was awesome but do give credits to Barca team as a whole...it is not like Messi scored all 4 goals by himself and only himself. ppl always 4get about the build-up to a goal
*
huh ?

who never give credit to barcelona ?

whole world already know how good barcelona is during the 1st half at emirates last week ... fast attacking football and like turn emirates into their home stadium ...

and why people praise messi now ? answer is simple ... go to check who last score 4 goals in a single CL match ...

to convert 4 chances into goal never easy in a match .. go watch birmingham - liverpool , see how ngog waste those chances ... then u know why messi should be praise high high now ...

I like the fourth goal. Messi was so calm when he tried the second shot.

Anyway, I wonder why he din make the pass when there is someone on the left unmarked.I forget who was it...Kinda selfish if you ask me...Good goal though...

yes... messi do look selfish some time... but im fine with that as long as hes accurate in front of goals... i guess that is just in his nature to score goals that he can't see other option but to find the perfect angle to put the ball into the net..

But he did create lots of chances for his teammates... so i think thats fair...

Absolutely bro. He is in fact has the most amount of assist in La Liga atm. One of easy points that Catalan media frequently used to snipe at CR and co. brows.gif brows.gif

I'd really want to disagree to ur opinion but...ItS hard not to notice that we scored 4 goals for the past 2 games without him.. (tho bojan-ibra's replacement was clueless last night)
Sometimes he misses those sitters really makes me hard to sleep at night lol..
But i think we should give him some time, hopefully, like many other players who come to barca, would play better in their 2nd season..
On his expensive price tag from inter, i just console myself that inter laid off maxwell to us a bit cheap..so even out lor.. (tho it really doesnt)
Maxwell doing great offensively, but defensively, especially that TW goal last week, he's still not good enough la.. Maybe he could play LW/LM like last weekend.. tongue.gif

On the bright side, we have fresh puyol and pique for classico.. lol tongue.gif

* On some previous comments, about el classico = mu-chelsea match.. IT IS NOT.. throw in spain politics + cutural pride, besides the need to win to be a step closer to the laliga trophy. Its more like a world cup final.. MU-chelsea is nothing near that..

Messi isn't really selfish. When he passes, it is because he knew it was the correct thing to do rather than going at it himself. How else could he have such high number of assists? He creates as he scores, fantastic. N, Messi deserves the plaudits and praises he is getting, no doubt. As much as i like Xavi, Messi is the true talisman of Barca.

I gotta agree Barca is better without Ibra. I mean, he slows Barca down as much as he misses sitters. He cost 40m + Eto'o, u would have expected much better..

even messi looks selfish like someone said, at least he deliver the goals ... and his teammates would love play with him because they can just pass the ball to him and he will execute it ... like zidane ...

not like others, dribbling a lot ... move here and there then shoot aeroplane

mmm.... seems everyone has the same opinion about ibra.. well.. about missing sitters.... CR also misses when RM playing Racing last time... So....it could happen to many other strikers....even messi sometimes misses also...

And...just have to remember... the last time Ibra played... he scored two very important goals for Barca.. he is improving afterall....
