Which shirt numbers will the new guys wear?
Although the new shirt numbers haven't yet been officially announced and no names appeared on the shirts so far this pre-season, yesterday's friendly game against LA Galaxy could have given some indications on which shirt numbers the new players will wear this season.
Brazilian left back defender Maxwell put on the shirt with number 19, which was free next year, and Brazilian central defender Henrique the shirt with number 23, which was also free last year. It is expected that Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will get the number 9 that last season belonged to Samuel Eto'o.
Two players could change their numbers: Alves played with number 2 (Cáceres) last night, and Busquets with number 16 (Sylvinho). Barcelona Atlètic players Muniesa, Fontàs, Jonathan and Jeffren respectively wore the numbers 21 (Hleb), 12 (free), 20 (Alves) and 17 (free).
my favourite number is 6=xavi! Although the new shirt numbers haven't yet been officially announced and no names appeared on the shirts so far this pre-season, yesterday's friendly game against LA Galaxy could have given some indications on which shirt numbers the new players will wear this season.
