LOL, what a great match. Even though we lost 1-0.
Ibra was good, but it was apparent that he was short of fitness. And I hope he will learn some pressuring skills from Pep as well. Bojan is certainly better than him in that aspect. Overall, its a good exercise for the team. Pep should be concerned about Iniesta and Marquez, who missed the entire preseason preparations, though. Like to see Toure marked Toure when Barca take corner kicks. Added on August 20, 2009, 6:33 am QUOTE(sepulse @ Aug 20 2009, 06:24 AM) IMHO, Toure - Keita - Busquets combinations will also deal similar damages. Toure is so dangerous while he played more adventurously. This post has been edited by matyrze: Aug 20 2009, 06:33 AM |

QUOTE Ibrahimovic: “I’m trying to pick up the rhythm” ![]() The Swedish striker’s much awaited debut took place in the second half of the Joan Gamper Trophy match between Barça and Manchester City. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has played his first minutes in the Barça colours: “I wanted to score. I’m angry I missed two chances but I’m not getting obsessed and I only want to pick up the rhythm”. “I played 45 minutes and I tried not to think about my hand injury. It affected me a bit but I play with my feet not my hands”, he joked. “I’m trying to pick up the rhythm”. “I’m very happy. The fans are fantastic”. He also praised team-mate Leo Messi: “He’s a fantastic player who makes some incredible assists. He’s got great technique”. sos this is his 1st game and he's not match fit anyways.. |

QUOTE(faris21 @ Aug 22 2009, 09:17 PM) I will say the chance is near to zero percent. Pep has said that we can't afford Cesc, so I think this has made things clearer. Its just that the media have been circulating those rumors again and again.I think it is ridiculous for Wenger to criticize our interest. Saying our interest is politically motivated, WTH? Isn't it logical for other teams have footballing interests in his best players? Doesn't he realize that he is the one who poached our youngsters without a single penny spent? Not one, he already poached two. And there are rumors that his scouts keep coming to our youth matches. Maybe the reason of his outbursts is because Cesc is indeed unsettled ATM, albeit not publicly. He shouldn't be angry with us if Cesc is not loyal to them. Go get angry with Cesc instead. If any club bid for our Messi or Iniesta, we know we aren't going to curse people, since we already know how loyal our cantera products are. They have talents, we have BOTH talents and loyalty. Yup i still keep 2-6 siggy instead of put TriCampions siggy, score 6 goal at Bernebue > win La Liga+UCL Agree that those 6 goals > La Liga + UCL. Surely our treble will be jotted down in history. But the win in Bernabeu will definitely be remembered even after next 50 years. Seriously. |

Added on August 24, 2009, 10:06 amBut i din understand why bojan needed to score his goal like that, i mean, isn't that a bit corky?just bury it and celebrate la, dun need to dribble into goal. This post has been edited by myhotgary2: Aug 24 2009, 10:06 AM |
