Well, could go the other way also. Then you really need "Prince Charming" to help you out

who is the prince charming?

QUOTE(David_Brent @ Aug 7 2009, 12:21 AM)
So.....what's your problem??
Liquid cash??
*
my problem is working hard to accumulate RM175k

now i'm just a monkey holding around RM15k

I'm also estimating now...

Let say 1 month rise average 50 points; if go for 2 contracts, will earned 50 X 50 X 2 = RM5K

RM175k / RM5K = 35 months, which is 1 year +

I'm still working a way out....

If your investment deal (whatever it is) is so good then you'll get lots of people who want to get in on it and you can ride along with the group.... nod.gif

IMO, one cannot just live off trading when you're retire at around 40-50 when you have no monthly income nor even EPF supplements. You cannot predict the market any money in the market, one must be willing to lose it all.

Worse still, if you are still supporting your family.. your kids education will double what your parents had paid for yours.

When you're in retirement age, this is the time when you actually needs to BACK OFF from trading stocks and pull majority of your assets into safer investments like fixed income deposits, bonds, gold, etc..

Trade or Invest in stocks now.. not when you're much older.
Continue to work till max age to get full retirement package or pension (if you're govt servant) like 55-60.

Oh well. who cares anyway, right?.. The world economy is going to collapse in two years anyway. brows.gif

If we all think like this, then forever we will be working for others, right? Isn't the purpose of investment is to create passive income for us? And when the passive income > salary, we can forget about working, no?
