I made a poor decision today, sold Arreit for peanut to free up some cash for sales...
but it wasnt a real sale.. doh.gif and dividend also fly away liao... cry.gif

I'm using M2U, recently bjtoto gave some share dividends, now I got odd lot, how do I sell this, does anybody know?

hihi, i think you need to sell through ur remisier at "odd lot market"... charges are different.. plz call him for more information..

yeah sell through remisier, odd lot prices normally sux...

how is it calculated, no idea...

i know when i saw the statement i was really pissed off thats all.

brokerage is the same, ust the market pricing is a bit different..

Example
If EX Date was 29/7/09 and you sell before the Ex date say 28/7/2009 - not entitled

If Ex Date was 29/7/09 and u buy, u will be entitled to dividend

If Ex Date was 29/7/09 and u buy, and than Sell... i think answer is "Maybe" ---> need to do some reading on this.

If the ex-date is 29/07/2009 (which is today), and you sold your KPS today (which you bought before 29/7/2009), you would be entitled for the dividend.

not only this... everyday when i browse company announcement in bursa there is plenty company who do that...

this is common... nothing special
